KISS was the 1st rock band I got into thanks to my older brother--I was duped by my parents into beleiving that there was only gospel & country music but my bro taaught me differently --1 perfect night I had was seeing all 4 original members together at Hershey park stadium--around 2000 or so ---it was July 4th--I'll never forget it --Paul Stanley said  that if we sang loud he would come out into the crowd --well I had 25 th row center so I stood on my chair& touched the bottom of his boot as he came gliding by--- was a moment I shall never forget

Has Anyone seen Ace on his recent Tour? Apparently he's playing Hard Times and Strange ways!! Any word on his new album?

Once Ace left the band, that was it.They should have ended it in 96 after the so called '' Farewell Tour'' that seems to never end.Don't get me wrong i was a huge fan back in the day,but they have just become a joke. Two hired guns to replace Ace & Peter,no new material, same show etc, etc.Time to put it to rest. IMO.

Huge fan since '76 (when I was 4!) My older brother turned me on to them and I've followed them ever since. Seen them 15 times, have all their albums, CD's, DVD's etc.

I believe Paul shot down the idea of a show to replace the members of KISS, but said they may look at finding members for an alternate KISS (maybe for a Vegas show or something). I think it's a bad idea and hope they don't do it personally, however, I wouldn't put it past them. As much as I love them, there are still some things they do/release that make me cringe.

A reality show to replace the band members?  That would be interesting.  I think I would actually watch that just to see what happens to a band I've loved since '79.

KISS is my second favorite band--I saw them only once in concert back in 2000 I believe it was with all 4 original members & it was such a perfect night that I'll never forget it .

Kiss paved the way for a lot of the "shows" we see today! The DVD vol. #1 Kiss has a show from early 73' in a small club that shows the early stage show that they would eventually make huge! For theatrics they were the leader in the industry. As for now I think they should do tours of certain groups of albums, kind of like Maiden is doing. I've seen them a half dozen times and would go again in a heartbeat!

I heard that Gene said they had inked a deal for a reality show to replace all the curent members.  I can't imagine a new kiss album

And, personaly, I think its fine to discuss a different band here.
