So, they have finally decided to play "British Steel" complete. I had decided to make the trip to Toronto upon hearing that they were coming to Canada, period!
...But, I am pleased that I will finally get to hear "Rapid Fire", "You Don't Have To Be Old To Be Wise", "The Rage" and "Steeler" live - after all of these years. What's that saying about patience???
I'm coming from Montreal, if there's anyone looking to hook up for a beer before hand, I'd love the company and to chat Priest before the show...
Cheers,
Brent |

Hello Priest fans around the world.
I,ve been to The Priest Feast in Dortmund/Germany Tuesday 24 Februari 2009.
It was once again a fantastic evening with "The Gods of HEAVY METAL"
The Sound of all instruments were great and Rob's Voice was outstanding.
It reminded me to their great era in the 80's,so sharp was he screaming and singing through the entire set that evening.
I can't wait until the 22 of March when they arrive in my Country (Belgium)
Many people asked about the songs they play this tour so here is the Setlist for the
PRIEST - FEAST Tour 2009
1.Dawn Of Creation/ Prophecy
2.Metal gods
3.Eat Me Alive
4.Between the Hammer and The Anvil
5.Devils Child
6.Breaking The Law
7.Hell Patrol
8.Death
9.Dissident Agressor
10.Angel
11.The Hellion/Electric Eye
12.Rock Hard,Ride Free
13.The Sinner
14.Painkiller
15.Hell bent for Leather
16.Green Manalishi(With the 2 pronged Crown)
For all those who go to see the METAL GODS, enjoy your evening of Heavy Metal.

Can someone post a setlist from last night's show in Dublin? I'm wondering if it has changed from the 2008 tour at all. Thanks. |

I shuold like to hear songs like Frewheel burning,Screaming for vengeance,Saints in hell,Rocka rolla,Dreamer deceiver/Deceiver.
I actually think that I'd like to hear the whole album of Nostradamus with a special show, but in the future I wanna listen to more classic songs and forgotten songs, specially from the two first albums. |

I truly hope to hear and see the whole Nostradamus CD played on next year's show.
Plus a couple of classics as encores.

AMEN!!!!
My biggest wish is to hear/see a show with mainly Nostradamus songs, that wouls SO awesome!! Not that I dont like the rest, but I think they should put more new songs in, than always play the old ones ... For fans like me who has seen them several times, Im sure Im not alone in wishing for some new songs ... Have you watched the you tube clips of Rob singing Metal Gods? Particularly in Melbourne, he is hitting that high note on "Slaves" like a demon!
This is a better performance than the 2005 tour to be sure ! |

Judas Priest should play certain songs at a lower key so Rob can hit the higher notes a bit easier. Plus the songs would sound even heavier. Rush does that with certain songs, like 2112 and Circumstances. Genesis does that with songs like Mama, which is a creepy song anyway, but sounds even better on the recent live cd. |

true, and Neil Pert does a drum solo that makes me tired just watching it. dunno if the vocals for rush are as chalenging to the throat as priest. but I would love to see it. WOW, that would kick ass. dunno if the boys can pull that off night after night, but if they toured slowly enough, at least a day off between every show, perhaps. fingers crossed!
