They don't need an opening band. I'd be happy with a 4 hour concert with just them!

I dont compare bands. I enjoy the vast METAL POWER ONSLAUGHT. ANd we bang to Glory of METAL perfection and KILLER GUITAR TONE . Praying to the MONSTER RIFFS.

Man couldn't  agree with you more... that first band sucked arse.. Dead Letter Circus.. what the hell?? i begin to wonder if Priest actually heard any of their music before they agreed to let them open, Electric Mary however, they were awesome, and they had respect! I was the one who shouted out "but your not the metal gods!!" hahaha and they took it in good humor, they definately had a good repore with the audience. And to top it off their music didnt sound all wingey, like the first band. In sydney they had Mortal Sin and Electric mary.. man that was way better - mortal sin have been around since the 80's and they play thrash - very fitting i must say. Have to mention they got more of a reaction out of us in Brisbane when they played War Pigs over the P.A system.. haha should have played Sabbath for 45 mins instead of wasting our time with the first band. unless of course Priest wanted to play an extra 45 mins on their set list.. oh yeah

No, you've been bashing Sabbath for sometime now. If you want i can dig some posts up to prove it? I said it before and i'll say it again,"i like AC/DC".  And i haven't bashed them (the band, or music). You've claimed i have but don't seem to have any proof? Because i choose not to put myself in a financial hole to buy tickets, means my opinion doesn't count? Prehaps in your world, where everyone is at the bottom of your nose. I noticed you don't like being talked to the same way you talk to others? You should get use to it.

for a band like fight or halford to do priest stuff is normal.  when one member leaves, they usualy take stuff they did in the famous band.  but for a band to do stuff that the one guy did on their own, thats rare.

not that I would object to seeing sabath do rainbow in the dark, or priest doing say nailed to the gun, but I would bet lots against it happening.

I liked Heaven and Hell (not Black Sabbath), saw them 3 times over the last 18 monthes. If you don't like them, you don't like them! Don't bash them ever time you get a chance. It's not for everbody.

I liked heaven and hell when I saw them headlining.  I never expected solo stuff, just like rob with priest, I cant picture fight.

mars volta, well, suposedly they are "trippy metal"  there were 8 guys, a white guy with an afro playing a tamborine.  picture earth wind and fire, all stoned, deciding to play metal, but without ever agreeing on a set list, all playing different tunes.

SOMEONE PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WORNG. I REMEMBER I BELIEVE IT WAS .38 SPECIAL OPENING FOR PRIEST SOMETIME AROUND 1980 IN NEW JERSEY. MAYBE ASBURY PARK OR ATLANTIC CITY. okay look the aussie dead man can normal say that the preist gigs are f***in unreal and the suport bands are okay but recently the god of metal made a humdinger of a mistake with the choice of the local ban for their gig at the bec in bbrisbane they were so pitifull that as me and marc stood at the rail all you could heare at the rail was most of the crowd sayiing get off they hated em and i must say with all due respect to rpb and the boys i agreed with em i was surprised that the crowd didnt rush the stage and bum rush em of stage but the next act electric mary the were dam good i don't know why priest just didn't open with electric mary and let them have the extra time to do some more songs any way that is what i think !!!!
