I just had a listen to Painkiller from Rising In The East...it's the same one as on A Touch Of Evil. My question to 'Priest is....how could you 'Priest I'd been looking forward to hearing some much better versions of Painkiller and this one is a disappointment. If Judas Rising and Hellrider are from RITE as well then I doubt I will buy this album.

I don't know why they are using stuff from both 05 and 08.... why not just 08?? The Rising in the East dvd covers 05.... I personally feel that Robs vocals were better in 08....... They could have filmed some live stuff and recorded more and (hate to say it but done like what Maiden did and released a dvd / live cd from it)....... Not mixed it up like they have.....I will buy this live album to add to my collection...but certainly won't be rushing out to get it nor am I particlarly excited about it....... How about a new album Priest??....

Why use Beyond the realms of death & Painkiller from rising in the east, thats just stupid, come on priest there has been much better times this year for painkiller.

The clips are great. Too bad that Hell Patrol isn't on it

I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HEAR ANGEL ON THE ALBUM. MAYBE DEAL WITH THE DEVIL ALSO.

What's Spinal Tap about the new live album?

Sounded like that to me as well.

However, no matter how Spinal Tap this live album may be, it'll come to my hands.

The Acolytes of the Unholy Church of Our Lord Icariotis must never (officially) challenge the PRIEST'S decisions!

That was tongue-in-cheek in case some harder nuts are trolling about.

I know Beyond the Realms of Death is from Rising in the East. Pretty sure Painkiller is too.

Depressing.....

I am sad to say Painkiller sucks live, they should never play it again. From what I heard it sounds decent, but it makes me wondor why Im a Rocker was omitted, it was awsome live.

Hi all, gave the 4 (sample) live tracks a listen and wanted to get ur thoughts & opinions. Here are mine (IMO):

Eat Me Alive - The true gem on the last tour, this song totally kicked ass live! Was great to hear them finally play it live and worth the wait absolutely.

Painkiller - Alot of Power behind this one, but lets be honest Halford should not be performing this live anymore. Put it on the shelf.

Beyond the Realms - This has to be from 2005-2006. Still a great showstopper for Priest, always cool to hear, but has not stood the test of time very well. Too many great versions of this song from all the previous tours, this isnt one of them.

Death - To me, this is the dark horse of the clips I heard. Sounded real tight and I love the eerieness of it. They can bring this one back for sure. Dont want to have the entire Nostradamus epic played live but this is pretty damn good.

Finally, a couple of songs that didnt make it to Touch of Evil Live disc but absolutely should have from the 2005 - 2008 tours:

Devils Child (2008) - Sounded great and Rob friggin nailed it. Loved it!

Hot Rockin' (2005) - To me, this was the best track on the Budokan DVD. Great dusted classic and live it put the crowd into a frenzy. Sorely omitted, why?
