I recorded the song by myself: drums and bass are made using a sequencer tracker (Mad Tracker, ndr), while I played the guitars and of course voice is mine...
I choosed live images about me and my old metal band called Menace 'cause Victim solos in this cover are done by my axe-friendTapevil!!
Thanks a lot again!
In early 2010 I think to post my first Metal album called Caterpillar to somewhere in web... I'll keep you informed about!!

Rob, if it were not for the subtle differences in accent, I would not be able to tell the difference between your voice and Rob's voice. You have the same tone as him and yes, it did give me chills! Incredible voice! Now, will you please do Painkiller so we can all just drop dead from Awe? Wow, you have a great voice. The guitars were not as tight as they could have been so truely it's your voice that carries that song. Congrats on being blessed with such a sound, and thank you for sharing this with us! Yesterday night I almost finished the final mastering of all the songs included in my album (called CATERPILLAR, ndr) and after deserved vacation I will built REDEEMER website, where eveyone can download that album and look for some pictures about me and my old band MenacE (if you are interested also about Menace I could send you our 2005 album QUAKE METAL for free, just to let the MenacE spreading all over the world...) .

I can't agree with you more HRMG,the majority of so called "metal" bands dress like fuckin skate boarders: Baggy droppy pants,or shorts, white tube socks and sneakers, baseball jerseys and baseball hats. This makes me sick to my stomach.True metal aesthetics should be black leather, denim jean jackets with band patches and studs on them, black leather jackets, denim & leather, spikes, gauntlets, studs, chains, black cloths, black gloves, bullet belts,non-baggy cloths, total "metal" philosophy. This is what ALL so called "metal" bands should be wearing. These young lazy lame kids of today starting "metal" bands look like they belong in Limp Biscuit or some shit like that, its a pathetic joke to say the least here.I'm so fed up with this crappy non-metal image I can throw up.
Every time someone says hey J.D. check this metal band out...so I do and what do I see even before I hear it? I see baseball hats, baseball or sports jerseys and shorts & sneakers!! If I want to see that I will go to a "baseball game" for christ's sake ya know? It just sickens me to the max,and I'm just tired of seeing all this non traditional bullshit.
Thats why I'm giving hails to Rob here from Italy and his old and new band's image, this is what it should be like,I took a look at his photos and they "look metal",this guy knows what its all about. No,having a metal image doesn't write good metal songs but it sure as hell help to do so I know that for a fact. So when people show me a "metal band" I look at thier "image" first off, because thier image will tell me leaps and bounds about what I'm going to hear.
And yes I've heard lots of lame bands "with a true metal image" yes I have and again an image doesn't write good metal, but without it a band doesn't stand a chance in hell to write a great "metal" album. The metal comes out like the artist dresses 9 times out of 10. So having a metal image is the first thing a metal band should do for themselves.
Without this true image, bands are drifting further and further away from that as possible as you said HRMG,and its true. So I'm pretty much fed up with these lazy lame kids of today creating metal bands with a rap artist's image or a skate boarder's image, its fucking lame and you'd think by now these idiots would get a clue about metal's true aesthetics, but they don't and keep putting out boring lame tunnel hat bullshit, its fuckin "sad".
Oops, sorry Jimmy and J.D. I should say that I agree with you both 100%. The image has always been very important to me - leather, studs, boots. When you saw that you knew it was metal. Todays bands seem to want to move as far away from that as possible. I'm so glad you kept the image Rob! And your voice is incredible, so much better than what Ripper did. You have that same tone as Halford and at times you sounded just like him to me. I always thought Ripper's voice was kind of rough (I don't know how else to explain it). Very well done Rob! Yes I agree. Yeah its very important to "dress metal" while in a band, promo pictures, magazine articles,CD booklets, anywhere where there is a photo of the band, the band should look metal 95% of the time. The other 5% of the time is back stage pictures ect..where bands like Priest are in street cloths, which is no problem ect..but anytime we see the actual band, they should be decked out in leather and studs ect...all bands should ya know. Yes Diamond, I fully agree with you!!
I was just meaning that is easier to "dress" metal instead of "be" metal..
As you can see from the pictures I used to eat bolts and to dress in black leather, but when I started to live back that aesthetic status (just due to my job) I realized that metal was continuously living and spreading itself into me, even if I wasn't dressing in metal style.
I think to have passed in a more intimate metal status, far away from the will to show that I'm a rocker... I understand to be a rocker inside!!
As Halford says: I'm a rocker, it's something in my blood!!

Oh in my opinion: "IT IS IMPORTANT TO PARADE THE METAL FLAG" rob.Yes metal lives in the heart and soul, but metal's aesthetics are just as important as it's music,it keeps the "spirit" of metal alive no matter how many posers out there look like a skate board band,a true heavy metal image is very important for a metal band,it says alot about a band and what they stand for. Having an image doesn't make good metal music,it helps to create the vibe and again it harnesses the "spirit" of tradition that has been handed down to our generation from the Metal Gods.
Just like Country music's aesthetics are blue jeans, belt buckles, cowboy hats and button shirts,ect...its a total "cowboy image" and even though I HATE country,at least they have always have had an image and aesthetics for thier genre of music, same goes with metal music....its about denim & leather,non-bagy jungle cloths, normal fit cloths, black, studs, bullet belts, black boots, spikes, head banging attitides, denim jackets with band patches on them...this is "us" metalhead's image. Not every "fan" has to dress up like this, but the majority of fans still do and I think its awsome!! But I do believe ALL metal bands should harness this image with tradition and respect, this is heavy metal aesthetics and it all came from Rob Halford and Judas Priest!
Thanks a lot man, metal is what I breath and I guess is not imprtant to "parade the metal flag": metal lives in the heart, metal is the inner core of every true rocker!!!
And this song is just coming from there, my friend!!!
