I'm still trying to understand the lack of support for "Halford". Ozzy had the place packed and
I know some of his fans have to dig "Halford". I blame Motley Crue(bastards). Most of the people
that would have supported Rob stayed in the lot til the Crue was done.(Yeah I'm reaching.)(LOL)
Hopefully he'll do a club tour. It would be a better atmosphere for him.
Just for the record. I dug Motley Crue. I saw them in 97' and thought they were pretty much done.
I didn't like them at all. I thought they did a great job at Ozzfest. Mostly old, high energy songs, and
an awesome stage show. They sounded pretty tight too.

Lastly to the metal goddess. I missed Crazy Train. I had to leave a half hour early so I could get up
at 5:00am for work.(bastards)(still bumming about that)
Peace all.

"Shout at the Devil" by Motley Crue.
I took the camera from my wife so it's a little jumpy at first.

[METALMANJP] Saturday, August 21, 2010 3:21:04 AM
Yea some ass was yelling "you suck" when Halford was playing and it was pissing me off. How about Ozzy soaking those people in the first 20 rows with a fire hose ? They had to be drenched from head to toe !

Now, I'm glad I was not there! A pissed off Spa diving over seats to kill the infidels would have ended up very bad for me! lol Dont really want to know what Joliette looks like! lol .................Nah, still wish I was there so I could have given them an education along with you.

What was even funnier was some guy gave me a dirty look because I said "dumbass" and he had his 10 year old with him...... but then this same guy and his 10 year old stay for Motley Crue and the F word was used at least 50 times but THAT is OK! WTF??!?!?!? Yeah, DO NOT HECKLE THE METAL GOD around me man, I get REALLY PISSED OFF! I almost started to feel bad thinking they were real fans, but then I realized that IF they were real fans, they would know that Heart of a Lion was written by Halford/Downing/Tipton....

Dipshits heckling THE METAL GOD!!

THANKS Bud!!! Crowd reaction was pretty much the same in Chicago, which really pissed me off. Some guys behind us kept on screaming "Play some Priest, we want Priest" after every song. They played Heart of a Lion and they started screaming it again when the song ended. I turned around and screamed at them "THAT WAS PRIEST YOU DUMBASS!!" Then they finally shut up. We were the only ones jammin' on Metal Mike's side and singing/screaming along, which he completely appreciated and smiled at us several times. Doesn't look good for a HALFORD tour I'm afraid....

As for Ozzy, he sounded really good in Chicago too. He didn't mumble, you could understand him and his voice sounded really good although it did crack once. The thing I love about Ozzy is that he is ALWAYS having fun on stage. Those parody video clips he showed before the show started were awesome! Did he bring on a little 9 year old boy to play Crazy Train at your show? This little boy was OUTSTANDING!!!! Holy Shit - he is going to be huge one day!

We tried to take video of HALFORD but we were too close to the speakers and there is just too much distortion. So THANK YOU for your video!!

Be warned...the crowd response is kind of lame...unusual for Pittsburgh.

It's easy. Go to You tube. click on the embed button. Right click to copy the embed link that appears. Come here, hit post, choose the "source" button in the top left hand corner of the toolbar, paste your link to the URL link and then click "Source" button once again.  Then just post your video. If your using Explorer, your video will show up in your window, but if your using Firefox, you will see a blank screen, unless you typed something, just hit post and it will appear.

I inserted a link but it's not working. I put a link to youtube on here before but now I can't.
If anyone can tell me how to post a youtube video here I'll put that Halford song up. Spapad
told someone how a few weeks ago but I couldn't find the post. Spapad? Anyone? It's not a
great video, I took it with a digital camera from a distance, but I want you guys to see it. Peace!

I'm just curious. Did anyone out there watch Ozzy during Ozzfest. I know MetalmanJP said he sounded
good but I'm hoping to hear from a couple of different people to hear different opinions. Here's what I got.
Ozzy blew me away. I was so expecting him to suck. He didn't sound fantastic but in my opinion this is the
best he's sounded since 99', maybe longer. He must have cleaned up for this tour because I could understand
what he was saying, his voice wasn't cracking up and/or fading out, and considering he probably has some
neurological problems going on he got around the stage pretty good. On top of that he probably has the tightest
group musician wise that he's had. I guarantee that I like Sabbath as much as anyone here and I can tell you
in all honesty that Ozzy and his band played Fairies Wear Boots as good, (probably)  better than Sabbath ever has.
Anyone out there going to the remaining Ozzfest shows that planned on skipping Ozzy, don't do it. You may never
see him this good again. Peace.

Great time. Halford sounded good and so did Ozzy. Crue had way too much base, could hardley make out Vince. The beer cost $5.50 for 12ounce. WTF !!!!

It didn't work for me. I'll try after work.

I hope I did this right. It should be a link to "Nailed to the Gun" from Pittsburgh Ozzfest.
Samsung digital camera = bad video footage but it's not terrible.

There will be many more shows and hopefully all of us can get together for one! Would that be kick ass or what!? Priest keeps saying that they will be touring again starting the spring of 2011, so let's make it happen
