GENOCIDE!!!

[Tyrant] Wednesday, October 26, 2011 4:18:05 PM
Glenn............

You must play Reckless! Even if its only in the MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA  SHOWS ! lmfao , and it would be nice to dedicate it to Tyrant ! lmfao @ that to.

If i may say something without offending, we have all the dvd's and live albums, i would like to see a few of the standards dropped , livin after midnight, breaking the law, aspecially, to make room for songs like Reckless, last time in Melb you did Eat me alive , which was fucking awsome...

Livin after midnight and some others are still perhaps really popular in the usa perhaps , but like i said we have them on dvd , Australian fans i think are alittle different , and i hope the oz fans perhaps put some thoughts up. Maybe in Australia a more fan based set list could happen...

For me .. Reckless of course, The rage, The sentinal, Never satisfied, Island of domination, Free wheel burning, Burning up, Eat me alive, Rock hard ride free, Beyond the realms of death, Electric eye,Take these chains, Killing machine,Evening star, Old to be wise , Turning in circles, Trouble shooter! I would be happy just to hear these only in a show , can you see my angle on this !

My question to Rob and Glenn , is it possible to alter the set list enough for countries / places you are playing , like mine for example .

My other question is , out of all the shows you do on this tour, why cant the one off performances of songs such as some i have mentioned be recorded,  and placed on dvd as a collection, i dont care if its different nights, you are in different clothes or sweating your arse off in on clip and fresh as a daisy in another, this would be a great way to do a hell of alot of songs over the whole tour and we could have a hard copy to see all the songs we have and would never get to see.

I love Rocka Rolla more songs could be done from that over the many nights......

I am not not sure if you guys actually see or read these perhaps ideas are given to you from here, not sure , but i would love to hear about this idea from some 1

If this is perhaps the last time we may see you live, i dont want to waste a god dam minite, i want to see stuff i like and other aussie fans .

I would love to hear Rob, or Glenns thoughts on these very matters.......

Tyrant..

Never turn your back, on the Ripper ! T.O.

P.S.
I do know this means you would have to rehearse a hell of alot songs, but SOD IT,  you are JUDAS FUCKING PRIEST !  LMFAO!

Hell of a list TREE!    I would love:

RUN OF THE MILL( Please blow your true long-time fans mind with this one)
ALL GUNS BLAZING
TYRANT
GENOCIDE
ROCKA ROLLA ( at least a few riffs then you can go to the drum intro of Living After Midnite)
THE RIPPER
FREEWHEEL BURNING ( one of the coolest videos of the 80's)
SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE ( these 2 songs would be awesome with a real drummer like Scott)

Come on guys, you haven't changed a single song since the tour started. Take a couple days of your break to rehearse these songs. You won't be sorry and your fans won't be either.

Can't agree with you there I'm afraid - Never Satisfied, Starbreaker, Night Crawler & Blood Red Skies are certainly four very welcome additions.

As for having the same setlist since 2004, JP have actually done quite well in mixing in different songs (along with the usual & expected classics), namely:

2005: Riding On The Wind, Judas Rising, Revolution, Hot Rockin', I'm A Rocker, Deal With The Devil, Hellrider, Exciter, Worth Fighting For, Solar Angels & Desert Plains.

2006: Take On The World

2008: Prophecy, Eat Me Alive, Between The Hammer & The Anvil, Devil's Child, Hell Patrol, Death, Dissident Aggressor, Angel, Rock Hard Ride Free & Sinner.

2010: Rapid Fire, Grinder, You Don't Have To Be Old To Be Wise, The Rage, Steeler & Freewheel Burning.

Not to mention acoustic &/or electric versions of Diamonds & Rust as well.

Setlist will remain the same throughout the US which is obvious. Thanks for no dusted classics and basically the same setlist since 2004. OK Blood Red Skies which Rob is now basically talking through and Starbreaker which has been bloody awful. No gems here..

What a great idea finding out what fans like. I saw on youtube 3 diffrent videos of 3 diffrent guys playing "Wheels Of Fire ".....never heard of the song before till a cool dude at work said he was playing it in HIS band. But my true favorite song is " Out In The Cold ". That opening keyboard riff is immediately powerful and certianly possess a terribly wintery feel to it.

You know you guys didn't play THE RIPPER in your European tour and I kind of think us fans in America would like to give our old, old friend The Rip a proper farewell.

So FREEWHEEL BURNING & THE RIPPER would be great addition for the USA tour.

Note: Don't forget  to play RUN OF THE MILL on your WINSTON-SALEM, NC gig, you guy have 2 days off before this concert ( and 2 days off after it) so you could sneak in a little rehearsal and get the song down- after all it's only 37 years ago that you laid it down on the fantastic ROCKA ROLLA lp.

YOU'RE IN FOR A SURPRISE
YOU'RE IN FOR A SHOCK....

 Remember:
1- For the USA TOUR: FREEWHEEL BURNING

2- For the WINSTON -SALEM NC GIG: RUN OF THE MILL. I got my 4th row tickets today and I'll be waitin for this once-in-a -lifetime event. I can imagine Rob saying:" well, tonight we are going to play something different, a hidden gem from the 1st album, a crazy fan has been requesting this on our webste, so here it is, for that crazy old geezer, RUN OF THE MILL".

Note: For all you younger fans go ahead and look for the ROCKA ROLLA album and listen to this incredible song and then tell me if I'm not right.
