Great song from the album that created heavy metal.

One of the great Sabbath songs.

I prefer the superior vocals of Dio but yeah Ozzy was the original. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by jimmyjames from Thursday, April 28, 2011 4:01:56 PM) Edited at: Friday, April 29, 2011 9:54:50 PM
This track is sick but I could do without those Ozzy vocals.

Classic.

I thought about that, (after) I made the remark of course. That's why I said to J.D. I was
probably wrong.

Budred, I agreed with Jimmys original post in here about Ozzy era Sabbath creating metal. The title of the thread is "The Creators of Metal - Black Sabbath Discussion" -Discuss the Apocalyptic riffs of Black Sabbath. Now if you interpret that as discuss Ozzy era Sabbath only than whatever floats your boat man. The thread was created to discuss Black Sabbath in general not just the early years. You guys need to get out of the box ...lol! Feel free to post as many Ozzy vids or information you want... its an open discusson about Sabbath. This sounds like I'm repeating Jimmy but if you want to discuss Black Sabbath and you're referring to them as creators
then the discussion should revolve around the Ozzy era or more importantly their beginning. I'm not going to debate which
Sabbath line-up is best because that's just opinion but if you discuss (Creators of...) then the only logical discussion would
be about the original line-up and what they did. You're free to post anything you choose but if I post here I'll stick to the topic.

I was answering Brian's question by basically stating what Jimmy already did.
My post under my video was me being confrontational in a way and probably shouldn't have been done.
Like him or hate him he doesn't start with me so maybe that was wrong on my part. I just love Sabbath,
especially this era.
Also, it's kind of funny the song you posted. Black Sabbath was villified for being Satanic but that song
is all about god. That shows just how Satanic they actually were. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by J.D. DIAMOND from Sunday, April 24, 2011 7:31:35 PM)

Budred I think you meant to type in Brian instead of jimmy, but I know who and what you meant.
Dio in Sabbath continued what Ozzy and Sabbath created in the 70's. Dio still belongs in this thread but just only posting Dio's material and leaving out the ozzy years is "RETARDED". And yeah this album kicks ass, like Jimmy said earlier about the Volume 4 riffs, these style riffs created "metal" being heavy or doom, they created it. Dio was playing rock and roll before he joined Black Sabbath.

Good to see videos that belong here. You two get it. Let's not forget this album. One of their best I think.
