Just curious. Was it a video camera or digital camera?
They didn't bother anyone around me with cameras.

I loved your vids too Budred - brings back fantastic memories for me. Sorry that you had the security guard from hell where you were. I filmed the entire song Beyond The Realms Of Death. The one security guard was falling asleep in front of us and the other kept looking at me but didn't do anything.... guess it all depends on if they are on a power trip or not. In Detroit, one security guard told me that I couldn't tape the banner to the rail (even though the tape came off easily and didn't hurt their precious rail, LOL). Then the two security guards in front of us came over and told me that we looked like nice people and didn't look like we were trouble makers so whatever happened with the banner they were OK with. I taped it up when the lights went down and the guy on the power trip was too busy yelling at people in front of him to care about me

Thanks to Spa and [ . ] for the comments.
Those videos would have been so awesome if I could have filmed from my seat.
I had to move back because they wouldn't allow video cameras. I didn't think to take
my digital camera. Those videos actually leave me confused because I think Rob
sounded better than I remember from the show.  The same thing happened when
I took video of Three Days Grace at Uproar. Their singer sucked but the video made him
sound better. (No, Rob didn't suck!)

Maple Syrup,

"2 Minute Black Sabbath Jam"?

Please clarify.

I saw them twice in the U.K. on this tour no BS Jam and I will see them tonight in MA.

Do you mean the War Pigs intro before the curtain drops?

Thanks

Oh My God! That's one of my favorite Rob get ups from back in the day. I drew him wearing just that very outfit a long time ago.

I couldn't agree more with those final comments. Anyone sitting on the fence? DON'T!!
This is just an incredible tour. I'm glad that you also hooked a good one, Maple!

Great review Maple!! It certainly did bring all of the old time fans back to the old days. I'm so glad that my 2 sons were able to see this show with us in Detroit - it was one that they will NEVER EVER forget.

   FOREVER!!

Cannot say enough about the show last night in Jersey. Priest played flawlessly and my personal faves were: Blood Red Skies, Nightcrawler and Beyond the Realms. They are a well oiled machine 21 songs in all and what can you say except they brought it to the house last nite. Loved too when they did the Black Sabbath jam for about 2min. Also showed the old school Priest in them, in so many ways. Halford delivering on many highs and his mid range screams brought the roof down OMG. Richie is really blending in nicely with the band, and his solos were spot on. Tipton is still the master ripping and shredding the whole night. Ian was as steady as ever, the backbone of the rythym section with Scott. Great Pyro and Light Show too certainly brought this long-time Priest fan back to the old days and the set list kicked ass too. Full House &The sound was terrific with the double bass of scott travis pulsating all night. If you are on the fence I suggest you go and not miss this one. Thank you JP for a great show! MPleSyrp

Last night, Izod Center, Section 9 floor, Row H. Show was awesome and the first for my 15 year old son. Two of his friends were there and one other dad. I can only express superlatives about the show. I missed not seeing KK, but since we were sitting right in front of Richie Faulkner, as the show went on I came to appreciate what he brings and enjoyed his work. Faulkner rocks, can play.

I met a fan that has a brother that works at Izod Center on the beer line ... and she said, "want to see the play list" ... 'sure!' Out comes the printout, each song, including special effects. The flames, set, lasers, all well done. Not overdone. Their "new" version of Diamonds and Rust, uptempo, great. The backscreen of different album covers as they did music from the entire collection, great touch.

My first show was British Steel tour in 1980 when I was 17. My son loved the show, has been listening to Priest music for years so he knew all the songs. Painkiller and Judas Is Rising are his two favorites. Up front where we were the fans were totally into it. There was a large crowd, close to being sold out. Halford sounded great, I cannot believe he can still do what he does.

A great experience for me and my son. I am not big on the super-detailed concert review thing. Reviewers of all kinds seem like they need to find 'something good' and 'something bad'. Sorry, but for me and my kid it was all GREAT. Unforgettable experience. For me, the count is 8 shows, all memorable. If they add more USA tour dates near me I am going to go again.

Hey I've been busy and wanted everyone to know that I thought Priest was great in Cleveland. To each his own and all that matters is I had a great time it just sux this may be the last time.

Thanks for the vids and the review, Budred.

People here are funny. I think some comment without fully reading a post. Two people have mentioned
the word fight now when referring to me yet I never accused anyone of that. I said people were angry because
my opinion differed from their's. Read the posts, it's obvious. If you guys think Priest was that great then so be it.
All I know is that out of the 17 times that I've seen them that was my least favorite. They've sounded so much
better in the past.

AWESOME!! Glad you had a great show too!! I was saying the same thing to people, it reminded me of Rob on the Painkiller tour. It was really mind blowing, IMO.
