I think each Priest album has to be taken as if it's the only one. I loved so many things about POE and a few I did not, and the same for almost every album they have made. I always find myself coming down on the like side more often than not and that's just fine by me. Even some that I initialy did not like can grow on me over time. Many have. NOT troubleshooter though. lol Don't Go has. lol
Guid, I agree if nothing but Persecution came off the Nos CD then it was worth it, but I do like more tracks than that and on the odd occassion I have time to listen to the full album it's excellent as a whole. Alone is one of my favs and I wish they would play it.

Some people didn't like the Nostradamus album :o
Personally I think it was one of their best albums along with Point of Entry, HBFL and Sin After Sin.
Though Judas Priest said themselves that some fans thought it was too experimental. But it was just something Priest had to get out of their systems.
I think it was an outstanding heavy metal album and the guitar riffs were amazing. The way Rob sang Exiled was perfect it had so much passion in it.
But the only thing that bothered me was at the beginnings of some songs it was a little to soft. But overall I think Nostradamus was a masterpiece. |

Not true. I bought two. LP Deluxe edition and simple (CD only) deluxe edition. Had the first signed on a visit with Guitardude. Had to buy another to actually play.
I loved it. Could care less what other people think. "Persecution" alone is a masterpiece.

The Nostradamus cd, ha! Nice one!
If you crank the Painkiller cd loud enough, your speakers just might combust.
Just ask Hellrider.
