IE sucks in general. Thus, the lema or saying: friends don't let friends use IE.
IE on a Winbox is a recipe for disaster. Most vulnerable browser out there. Switch to Firefox or Chrome ASAP. I prefer Firefox.

If I'm reading you post right you're saying Chrome works part of the time and other times it doesn't.?
Sounds like the same propblem I'm having.  
I can't stand  Internet Explorer.

I switched from IE to chrome for that reason
it seems to be working for me, this AM I couldnt get it to let me post. not sure

What you can also do is look at the bottom of the message space when you're about to make a post. It should say the following:
"Having a problem using the above editor? Please try the new version or the basic version" or "Use the Enhanced Version" or something like that.
And if THAT doesn't work. Then...

Try checking your pop-up blocker settings. Turn it off and see if the smiley window comes up.
And if THAT doesn't work, then I can't help you.

I'm having a problem with the standard editor that pops up after you click to post a message. Half the time it will not let me type anything and I have to switch to this editor. Anyone else have this problem? This editor has no option for smiley faces. Anyone?
