It's hard to decide.
For me it has been Painkiller for quite a long time but Stained Class and Sin After Sin, British Steel are very strong in my opinion.

IT'S HARD TO JUST PICK OUT JUST ONE AS THE GREATEST ALBUM OF ALL TIME --EACH ONE IS SO DIFFERENT & UNIQUE IN IT'S OWN RIGHT --BUT THAT'S JUST THE WAY PRIEST IS --JUST WHEN YOU THINK YOU'VE GOT THEM ALL FIGURED OUT , THEY CHANGE THE GAMEPLAN !!!--IF I HAD TO CHOOSE JUST 1 IT WOULD HAVE TO BE SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE

I'VE LEARNED SOMETHING HERE. WOW! EVERYONE HAS AN OPINION AND THINGS THAT I THINK ARE A NO BRAINER MAY NOT BE. TO ME SAD WINGS OF DESTINY IS NOT ONLY THE GREATEST JUDAS PRIEST ALBUM, IT MAY BE ONE OF THE 5 GREATEST ALBUMS BY ANYBODY ANY KIND OF MUSIC OF ALLTIME. THE DIVERSITY, THE INTENSITY THE VOCAL RANGE.

NOT TO MENTION HOW ADVANCED IT WAS FOR ITS TIME. THIS ALBUM IS 35 YEARS OLD AND STILL SOUNDS AWSOME. COMPARED TO WHAT WAS BEING PUT OUT IN 1974 THIS ALBUM TOOK BALLS. BUT I GUESS THAT IS WHAT MAKES JUDAS PRIEST "THE PRIEST"

Nostradamus is already a great classic in my opinion. It wreaks of classic heavy metal overtones. I know it sounds nothing like Jimi Hendrix or Cream...but in an odd sort of way it reminds me of that era. Go figure.

METAL WARRIORS DOMINATE

Painkiller. It was album I bought of Priest and I love that hard rough sound. I think British Steel isn't that kind of tough. But BS is a great album.

I'd say Screaming for Vengeance, Painkiller or Ram it down! But let's way for the new album to be more familiar to us...it's very so good!
