I agree with you 100% Becks! Focusing on the bad just drags everyone down. Of course there are things that I don't like about Priest or any other band that I listen to. Going on and on and on about how they aren't like they used to be doesn't change anything. I'm tired of waiting for the new album, but I don't sit here complaining constantly about it. Yeah, it sucks waiting, but my complaining about it won't change anything and it only makes the waiting even worse! I so wish that you could have been with us all in Chicago Becks!!! I swear, if they do a show at a festival here, we are going to take up a collection to get you here so that you can see them live!!!
It's just unfortunate that Rob set himself such a high standard that when he does hit a bum note (which is NORMAL for ALL singers time to time) people shit on him. Bloody hell people, this man and his mates have shared their music with us for 40 odd years - they owe us nothing at all. We are lucky. Yep, sometimes something happens that pisses fans off, or they release a record or song that is not the best (example, I really don't like Loch Ness from AOR, and Troubleshooter from POA is hammy at best). What is so wrong with focussing on the positive! Just because most of us here focus on the good stuff doesn't make us fan boys or fan girls. Why on earth would anyone want to dwell on the bad stuff, that just drags you down. That video is excellent HRMG, I would have given anything to have seen Judas Priest live on that tour

Scott, KK, Ian, Glenn, and Richie fuck up but no one ever talks about it or makes an issue of it. Rob on the other hand is expected to be perfect at every single show. Being the Metal God is both a blessing and a curse I suppose. How can you possibly expect Rob to sound just like he did when he was 20, 30 or even 40? He doesn't move around like he used to because he is concentrating on hitting all the notes because if he doesn't, people bash him. But people then bash him because he isn't moving around. People laughing at Rob in Cleveland, NO FUCKING WAY!! The people around me were showing each other the hairs standing up on their arms because he was so incredible!
I think this deserves another post!! Since this very well may have been my last time seeing Priest, I wanted video of one of my all time favorite Priest songs - Beyond The Realms Of Death. This song means a great deal to me personally and brought me through my brothers suicide. I will always love this song and I thank Priest from the bottom of my heart for writing it. Sorry about the camera flip, it was my first time recording a song.

Every one of us here has made negative comments about things we did not like concerning Priest and yet you and Bwian consider us fanboys and fangirls. Give me a break. You are just mad because people don't agree with you, because I sure as hell didn't think Rob sounded bad in Cleveland. Fake highs, isn't that what you said? People were laughing at him? Rob was much better on the Epitaph tour than the BS tour,IMO, where he was hit or miss (I believe that is a criticism, is it not?). Then after I posted the vid I took of BTROD in Cleveland where you said Rob was being laughed at, people heard it and thought Rob was AWESOME!! I let others judge for themselves regarding that show. is my favorite band and I have only posted negatively about the way they are fleecing their fans as of late and I didn't see their
last show as being one of their better ones and the diehards can't handle that. I have supported Priest since 1981' by hitting every tour
except Ram It Down and by buying every disc they've released and by buying merch at the shows. If I choose to speak negatively

Hey Jerri, welcome to the board!! My advice, sit back and just read what's going on. There is history here that you won't understand at first. You strike me as a true Priest fan that wants to meet other Priest fans and hopefully meet up at a show. THAT is what this site is for and you will do just fine here. When people have nothing good to say about Priest, we question why they are even here. Most sites would kick people like that off the site, but this site doens't have a moderator that does that. So what Guido is saying is that we have to moderate ourselves. Again, welcome and I hope you enjoy yourself here!!

In general, what this means is what I said. If you are a self-pitying, hyper-sensitive, ingrate pain-in-the-ass, you can always create your own thread or just post in the "why all the web police" thread and have a second person to have a pity-party with you! ¡Opá!
The term "shitdisturber" was coined as one word, BTW. LOL!! It is more than stating a negative view about Priest. MANY have done it, myself included. The term refers more along the lines of a troll. A pathetic droning on about how BAD Priest has become on their own site could do it. Acolyte vs. you, Redbud (smoke more, you'll be calmer). Good comparison. One is a general ass and one isn't. Both criticized Priest. Guess which one is which. Jerri hasn't fallen into your sad hole yet, Redbud. I only see one person whining here. "Oh web-police? (aka. cruel fate) Why do (doth thy) you hate (mock) me so?" (Quoting Message by Budred from Friday, February 01, 2013 2:20:55 AM)

As long as you go along with the masses you will be just fine. As soon as you state an opinion that
in any way reflects negatively on the mighty Priest then everything changes. All of a sudden you become
a shit disturber or fucktard. It's laughable but that's how it is here. I say post anything you want and don't
worry about what others think.

when the band is idle i have noticed an increase in animosity among members, and when they are busy, it seems to drop off quite a bit, same as work if you arebusy, no time to complain or stir things up among workmates

That's a good point but it brings out the ture colors of the Priest fanboys/girls in here. It's happening in this thread right now as we discuss. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Priestgirl_1 from Friday, February 01, 2013 12:06:36 PM)

I think that is one of the most important points to note
Here is a good point. If Bwian, who has more ignores than friends, thinks something is a good idea, it isn't.

I agree with Budred 100%. Just ignore the fanboys/girls in here that get their panties all in a wad and say what you want.

Interesting question. "Why are people not getting along" isn't quite the same as "who is mad at who and why?" First question is a bit too big to answer. Why are people not getting along? Compared to other websites, it is because there are many more Mods who snuff arguments in the bud. Here, we have one who only intervenes when things go terribly south.
Who is mad at whom and why? Well, as we are more or less a self-mod group, the term "fucktard" comes into play. That is just the generic term devloped here (I credit Head Banger who will probably credit others...I still say it was his moment of inspiration) for someone who is just a "shitdisturber." Come to a site to incite the membership into arguments. Neither really come into play with the true membership. You'll find them. They'll find you. You'll find that nobody makes friends with fucktards/shitdisturbers. Why bother? "Mad" however? Why does anyone get mad over a website that is freely given to support what I think is the greatest band in the world. Personally, I laugh at such people.
Again, welcome and enjoy yourself. VERY good people here.

Now a caucus of war, I could imagine. A caucus of warm though? What, a buch of old white guys sitting together to see how how warm they can make the globe?
Now vultures can be demanding. Ever seen a big turkey vulture on a deer? Intimidating creatures. Hell, I'd demand a part of the devil were I a turkey vulture. Not a standard Old World vulture like a palm nut vulture, mind you but a turkey vulture. No doubt. Heh.
As for the last old person I helped across the street. THAT was a battle. Old bat didn't want to go. I grabbed her walker and she went, though, damnit! Helping, Dragging. Same concept if you ask me!
Well, you can blame the caucuses of war, for one. After all, they are drawn by the smell of warm and pain. And let's not forget the demanding vultures, who demand the parts of the devil. They ain't called demanding vultures for nuthin', ya know.
The solution to all this madness? Well, first thing we gotta do is hold hands and sing happy songs of peace and love. Then leave the Internet and make contributions to society. Plant trees, read to little kids, help old ladies cross the street. If we can do that, we can make the world a better place.
BUT! That ain't gonna happen. 'Cause the Internet is too much fun.
