Sick, spapad?
A couple of aspirins and a shot of whisky will perk you back up in no time.

Hello! I'm back from town LOL! I had to post a present to a friend, I ran out of wrapping paper at home and had to wrap it in my car before going in to the post office LOL argh.
That vit C stuff sounds handy JD! I'd like to go a year without getting sick LOL!

Hey spapad....get some "Emergen C".......1,000 mg of vitamin C in every package......I drink one right before I go to bed,and one right when I get up....I haven't been sick in over a year.....

I'm not saying that by drinking one of these you will never get sick...but it really reduces your chances of getting a virus,or flew..ect.......2,000 mg of vitamin C every day can't  hurt any!! lol!!

Really though....pick up a box of Emergen-C and try it....it will help you get better I almost gaurentee it....and when you are 100% back to normal...drink one every night before ya go to bed

and one right when ya get up even if your not sick at all.....again,I'm not saying that this will prevent you from never getting sick, but it will help reduce your chances..ect....

Well, lets talk about something fun!

Good evening everyone. I finally got up the strengh to take a shower, as I'm home sick today. It's 75 degrees in my house and I'm wearing a sweatshirt because I'm cold. Which is a graduation up from PJs and a blanket.

Good morning/evening Becka and Joe and the rest of you Priest fans

This will be a better day Joe!!

Guido, I have an Uncle who is a rabid Lions fan...hated having to spend Thanksgivings with him when the Bears would play them...all his moaning and groaning and bellyaching about days gone by just was not fun, especially when they were kicking our tails

I think their problem is more executive than anything else over the years...I don't know much about their current ownership, but I haven't really heard anything bad about 'em.  I would like to see 'em put a hurting on the Pack and their next visit to the Metrodome!!!!!!!
[Becks] Monday, September 21, 2009 3:04:56 AM
That sucks Joe, I hope today goes better for you!

Sure, build them a new stadium. Get them out of Pontiac. Great idea. Now just win a freakin' game!!!!!

Yoopers aren't the only ones who cheer for Greenbay. Glad to have someone here who understands my pain.

The Lions?   It's just PAINFUL to watch..... *sigh* How can a team suck for that long??? I'm 39 and they've never been very good for as long as I can remember! Yes Guido, that's why they call it Hockey Town, cause it sure as hell doesn't have a very good reason to be a football town.... it's just depressing during the fall. No wonder the Yoopers cheer for Greenbay.

Don't get me started on Barry's "retirement!" He had a HUGE mural of himself panted onto a skyscraper right downtown. Ever see it? When he refused to play anymore, they rolled that sucker faster than anyone could believe. Sorry, but from a Detroit native, I have to quote Wiki and you'll know why I cheer so much for the Red Wings and Pistons. Even the friggin' Tigers got better for a little while. The Lions, well, we natives all just sigh. LOSE ALL 16 REGULAR SEASON GAMES IN 2008?!? FFS!!!
---------

The Lions have won four NFL Championships, the last in 1957, giving the club the second-longest NFL championship drought behind the Arizona Cardinals, who last won in 1947 (as the Chicago Cardinals). The Lions have yet to qualify for the Super Bowl. The team has qualified for the playoffs only nine times in the more than 50 years since winning the 1957 championship and has won only one playoff game in that span.

The 2008 Detroit Lions became the only team in NFL history to lose all 16 regular-season games. They are only the second team to go winless without a tie (next to the 0-14 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers) since the NFL-AFL merger in 1970.

Those Lions were winning both games so far...at some point those high draft picks have to start paying off!!  Don't feel too bad for the Lions Becks, that team has had arguably the two best running backs to ever play the game in Billy Simms and Barry Sanders...very exciting players to watch and dread opposing as a team that plays them twice each season had to put up with.

Well, I know you don't celebrate Thanksgiving there but it is a tradition to watch the Lions lose on that day. Always the fourth Thursday in November in the USA.

We'll keep you posted as to how badly we get beaten this year.
