Can you both get pigs ears (Spa I am sure can). Man, does THAT send them into a frenzy! Especially bbq-ed ones.

MY dogs sure do. I should tape it. Funnier than anything. "Who wants a momo" can send a dog flying one over the other full-speed down a flight of stairs.

You are loved in my house without even knowing it, IOW!

I'd be impressed, fat boy, if YOU actually did the graphics.

We all know you are too dumb to do so and that pic is all over the net. LOL!!! You are too stupid to even realize it. Saddest part of all.

Well naming after you was the least I could do, after all your sister named the treats after me,and who doesn't want a momo?

What a sweety!

Yeah, most definitely the greeny bars, they really work a charm and the doggies love them. Like Spa says aswell, avoid wet food and leftovers. You could also take him to the vet for a check up to see if he has any decaying teeth (possible due to neglect from his previous home).

I still cannot come to terms with the fact that people get pets and just abandon them like they're pieces of garbage.. freaks me out way too much.. Scary part is do these people have children and if so, how are they treating them?

AWWW!!! He's a cutie Momo! Best thing to do is avoid wet dog food like the plague ( my Lucy eats the Walmart equivalent of Beniful and loves it!),
and give the baby lots of chew sticks and milkbones!
Believe me, Lucy's teeth looked completely yellow with black plaque at their base when I got her. Now they sparkle like the young dog she is!

Thanks for naming him after me! I'll name my next rescue Maureen. LOL!!

Seriously, two guids thumbs up as you know all my animals are rescue.

As for the teeth? Yeah, get Greenies. Dogs LOVE them It'll keep their teeth clean and breath minty fresh. You can get them in stores but I prefer online. Great deals can be had on eBay.

post edit...it just hits me....my sister started it with her dogs but you wanna know what we call doggie treats around here? "Momo" LOL! "Who wants a momo?" Sends the hounds crazy doing all their tricks for one! HAAAA!! I kid you not.

This is Randy, someone opened my nephews friends car door and dumped him, so my nephew brought him home. He is a very well behaved dog (well most of the time he is). He loves going out for a walk and being brushed. He came here Saturday and fit in so well  just like he has been here forever, very friendly love to give kisses, but his breath smells so bad, I tried bushing his teeth, but that is one thing he hates, so if anyone has ant suggestions.

Story photo: Taco Bell Chihuahua Dies at 15Gidget the Taco Bell dog at the "Cats & Dogs" premiere in Westwood, CA on June 23, 2001. Gregg DeGuire/WireImage.comUs Magazine
Gidget, the famed Chihuahua who appeared in Taco Bell ads, died Tuesday at the age of 15.

Karen McElhatton, Gidget's owner, tells Usmagazine.com the dog was with her trainer, Sue Chipperton, watching television when she began making "strange noises" and suffered a stroke.

Before the dog's death, "She had a good day and was running around as normal," McElhatton tells Usmagazine.com. "We're happy that she was very well off right until the end."

I know it's taken me forever to share these with you but here's a picture of the girls. We eventually named them Robyn and Oprah lol. Yuda thinks they're his lobster tank and can't understand why we wont let him get one.

[joedraper] Wednesday, July 22, 2009 3:41:31 PM
I"m so glad he's home. I bet his brother must be pretty pleased too?
If his tummy is upset or you are worried abut him eating try some boiled chicken or plain boiled fish (not tinned). As long as it's boiled or nuked in the microwave it should be very gentle on his tummy.

Thanks for your kind words Joe. Marmites blood tests came back this evening - all clear, YAY!!!  But the vet said I need to keep and eye on his eating to make sure he is ok, and if anything else happens to let them know. Marmite is currently snoozing in his cat bed
Yuda truely is a miracle kitty! I am so pleased he recovered so well, what an amazing cat he is.

How's the patient Becks?

I know this is very stressful for you and you must be worried sick but please keep positive. I've learnt that positive thought can move mountains. Yuda was supposed to be dead, crippled or missing a limb. And just look at him now!
You would never have guessed that he'd been through so much.

And have faith in your vet. They work miracles.

I'll keep both of you in my prayers. x Let us know how he is.

Because he knows I love him the mostest.

Well Marmites temperature was normal, so the vet is keeping him overnight to do blood tests in the morning. Results come back in the afternoon which is nice and quick. I'm so worried about him

I would't rule out him eating something funny. Both our cats munch on grass (as cats often do LOL!) so he may have eaten something he thought was grass but wasn't. I'll bring that up with the vet as a possibility.

Could he have ate something that has made him sick? I know my husky was very ill one time just because she ate something she souldn't have. Laid around for several days and would not eat a thing. As you say though best to have the Dr. run some tests, blood panel sould be in order, I would think. I'm no Dr. but you know your pet better than anyone and would know when something is not right.

Thanks HRMG, Spa. I will let you know what happens. I've decided to try and be forceful with the vet, all to often they're like oh it's this have some pills. I KNOW something is wrong, he's just not himself and I am so worried.

My poor kitty Marmite isn't well. It's a long story, but we took him to the vet on sunday (yay for having a 7 day vet!) cos he was scaring really easily and just wasn'y happy. The vet reckoned he'd been in a fight and had a bite somewhere, so he got jabs and some medicine to take and perked up a bit, but he is still not happy and not eating properly. I had to sit with him this morning to make sure he ate breakfast, which he ate most of, and promptly threw up again. I don't know if he's gotten majorly freaked out by something but I am really worried about him and hate seeing my boy unwell

Pets? Yes. Our family's got 'em.

1 Dog - a 3-legged Husky we picked up from the Humane Society. His name is Jinx and he was hit by a car, then turned over to the Humane Society who did the amputation. He's a great dog - although he's a big sissy when it comes to storms and people yelling (not necessarily at him).

3 Cats - a White w/tan spots DSH boy cat named Cheyenne that we got from someone who was allergic, a brown/black tiger striped DSH girl cat named Maisy that we adopted from a rescue organization (poor thing has no front OR back claws), and our newest animal, an all black girl long haired cat named Cindy who is still adjusting to life with a house full of pets.

1 Ferret - an albino (white fur, red eyes) named Pinky, for the infamous Pinky and the Brain (NARF!). Pinky's a great player around the house and ferrets are a load of fun to have around. Now if only he wouldn't mess in corners from time to time... *sigh*

And 1 Leopard Gecko named Stripes, who chows on crickets and sits in his cage a lot.
