Only good part about it (other than the getting paid part) is that work will start an hour later. So starting tonight and until Sunday, I'll get to wake up an hour later than usual (extra rest, in other words).

Maybe the Old Zealanders used to playing ice hockey before the New Zealanders came around. There was a clear home advantage that the Old Zealanders could have used, but instead they thought they could beat the newcomers with a sport that they rarely practiced.

Here's something funny - the most read news story on the most pupular NZ news website two days ago was about a dog who knocked the handbrake off on his owners car, and ended up driving the car in to a cafe. That's an almost typical news day here LOL! So I've been catching up on the latest US politcal news - it's so much more entertaining than our politics LOL!
