Beelzebub???!?!? By Lucifer's beard I will get you for that, guido!!! HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Caron, I am so glad I could help! I just remembered the "little demons" and the 70's and sort of put two and two together, as it were. In any event, one mystery solved. Sorry I am unable to help on the other!  Happy Monday, all!!!!
[guidogodoy] Monday, October 20, 2008 2:55:55 AM
Well, thank beelzebub (aka, Freeze..lol!). You know, even after I signed off last night I still had that damn question in my head. Even did a couple of searches.
Thought Soy would have been the one to answer it but glad SOMEONE had. Now I can sleep. Well, except for that damn Sinner question. At the gym tonight, I listened to four different versions to "hear what Rob was whispering." Certainly ends wiht a "-tion." "Is this our creation" would't be too far off...but that was for another thread! At least one mystery solved here.

I was trying so hard to remember the name of this movie and couldn't!!
After reading your post, I went to find it on the web. There it was!!
I knew I would know it the moment I saw it!!
Just watching those little demons on the short clips STILL freaks me out!!!!

Since it's now officially Monday, a good Monday to all!!

Thank you very much, MS. We are recording in Buffalo, NY. I will PM you about it.
[Maple Syrup] Sunday, October 19, 2008 2:30:42 PM
Freeze, thanks for the offer. By the way, the DF / MM songs I heard from Project I were very good. Let me know too if you need a secondary drummer on a song or two. Saw Between Hammer & Anvil and Metal Gods as a couple you are doing for Project 2. By the way, what part of the country (US) do you guys get together for the recording? You have some of the recording done offssite by the individual players and then you mix it. Best of luck on it too. MSyrup (M)

There's another really scary movie that I saw as a kid that FREAKED me out. I can't recall the title. What I do remember are these small demon like creatures that show up all over this house, doing stuff to the inhabitants, and there was a black and white checkerboard floor.
[guidogodoy] Sunday, October 19, 2008 3:59:17 AM
Check out this comment. Mentions the same scene that came right to my mind. Old man scene. Crap! Guess I wasn't the only one to be freaked out some thirty+ years later.

I remember Matchgame! Now that was a game show!  I don't like or watch any of the current game/reality shows. Yeah they're giving away money, and who wouldn't like that. But where's the game?
Matchgame was hysterical, especially when it got a little dirty! But dirty back then was still clean, compared to today, where nothing is left to the imagination.

Uhhh...yeah bro. We were all just watching the same show (for example), lol!

That is one of biggest differences I see. Where you get shock value humor in these newer ones, the older Roasts were cleaner but damn funnier. I ask you, is there any comparison between Jerry Lewis and Andy Dick?! It is almost like they have to laugh at his idiocy as most would probably just punch him otherwise.

Oh those old Johnny Carson shows were the best!  Late night t.v. has never been the same. David Letterman has his moments, so does Jay Leno, but neither come close to Johnny. I dislike Jimmy Kimmel and Conan OBrian. Craig Ferguson is pretty funny.

I'm still trying to figure out what that "certain part" of the male body actually IS?!

My nose is just the right size, thank you.

Don't know about that but I do know his show helped kick off all the Wayans brothers which led to In Living Color.

Exactly! I would LOVE to have that collection. The Johnny Carson one is hysterical!

These are ok, but THOSE would just leave you crying with laughter.

Speaking of HBO, ever see the Robert Townsend shows? DAMN funny guy. His only somewhat movie was Holywood Shuffle (NOT Meteor Man...argh!) but he was great at skit comedy. Great cast, too.

Dean, the drunk funny man was incredible, especially when put together with his cohorts like Jerry Lewis and Sammy Davis Jr.
Add in the rest of the rat pack and do nothing but laugh till it hurts!!!!

Since I had to stop my Priest DVD to take that screenshot, I just HAD to join you two with some tri-state Comedy Central bonding! LOL!! This was a good one. Some really stink and, like SNL are a weak throwback to the original Fryer's Club Roasts. Dean Martin was just too damn funny! How 'bout that for one classic funny guy?   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by VICTIM OF METAL from Sunday, October 19, 2008 2:29:55 AM)
