| Nostradamus is not a "great" album at all. Sorry guys,but this album is an "overkill" to the listener and is too long of an album to get into in my opinion,this album is very boring compared to Angel Of Retribution or any of Priest's best albums.Nostradamus is an overkill...too much slow ballad material on this album,this may have destroyed this wonderful band? Who knows...maybe Nostradamus was Priest's last album? Could very well have been.If so...not a good album to go out on a bang with. |

No matter what I listen to before I go to sleep (typically Angel of Retribution), it always seems that I wake up with either "Visions" or "Nostradamus" in my head -- weird. But hey, there are worse things! Waking up to Rob singing - sometimes life is just unbearable!  Now, if only it were real..... |

I for one is actually quite pleased they didn't concentrate on Nostradamus!
But is does strike me as strange they played so little of it, considering this was the Nostradamus tour.
Most bands tend to do a fair few songs from their latest release when on tour.
Priest made heavy hints that they were going to do concerts in which they would play all of Nostradamus.
Now they've dropped that and they're going to do the whole of an album released 28 years ago!
Lack of confidence in the new product?
