Yes HRMG,why can't Bruce wear this outfit onstage nowadays? Brian whines about Halford's awsome long leather and studded coat/jacket yet its ok for Bruce to look like a fucking rap artist? And its ok for Maiden to sound like a folk band with all that progressive sounds but its not ok for Priest to do Nostradamus? Look at Bruce in this photo, thats what metal's image was supposed to be,not his nowadays looking beastie boy look.
Wow, have I MISSED you J.D.! Amazing how no matter what IM does, Brian thinks it's awesome or has an excuse for why it's OK for IM to do that and yet says shit about Priest. It's getting so old and predictable.

Bruce spoanks of poor aesthetics nowadays and looks like a fucking wanker! Saxon is up 10 to 2 over Maiden in your showdown thread haha!

Well J.D., the thing is, Jimmy has been nothing but an ass to me. I acted like an idiot, blowing up and leaving ridiculous
posts back at him. At times I was so bothered I was wishing he would just die. Then a friend of mine died and I realized how trivial all this is.
I no longer care what he or anyone else thinks of me. I tried too hard too fit in and it all backfired on me. Jimmy pointed out some of my faults
and I've made efforts to change some of my actions because of it. I even tried to call a truce to all of this to spare this site but he's relentless
and I'm beyond caring. I love Judas Priest and I want to be a part of this site and the last thing I want is conflict however Jimmy persists. I like you
and hope this doesn't piss you off but you, him, or anyone else that doesn't like what I post can use the ignore button. I always complain about all
the bitching here but others always say it's their right so it's mine also. I should have listened to Freeze and Spapad and Guido and HRMG in the
beginning but I didn't so here I am. I'm not going to go ballistic anymore but if people want to rip me then people should expect a response.
Take care man. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by J.D. DIAMOND from Friday, February 18, 2011 3:17:07 PM)

I don't think think the atmosphere of the band/managers was the same back then. So, that made things difficult and would have shown in any work around that time. It only takes one person who's heart is not in it to sink a project. That is water under the bridge now, but guessing on it is also probably folly. What if, never works. Come on, Priest were on a career high after Painkiller, their best and most consistant album since Stained Class. It it was thrown away for whatever reasons. The Resurrection album didn't come out until 2000 so thats 9 years wasted that Priest could have been producing material, instead Rob was keeping it real with his homeboys in Fight and Priest were playing at being a Priest covers band. I was only using AC/DC as an example because they went on a hiatus during the time grunge was in, they kept a lower profile which served them well when they did come out with something. Priest could easily have stayed together and Rob could have done his own thing as well. Like what's happening now. I call that period a waste because we could have had 2 or 3 quality Priest albums over that 9 or 10 year period. Ressurection and Crucible are good but they are nowhere near Priest at their peak.

Five years later in 2000 they released Stiff Upper Lip, which was shit but no-one cared because they missed them. Priest might have been better served to take that road rather than giving up completely.
