I know Mushroomhead is not too big here but I'll share this anyway. I saw them last night at a place
called "Altar Bar". It's an old church turned into a club. You have to see this place. It's pretty freakin' cool.
Too small for any major acts but such a cool place to go. Mushroomhead was badass. I love the whole
spectacle effect they got going on. That and they're freakin' heavy as f*ck. I got a couple of pics and
two more vids I'll post later. Here's the first video. |

I don't think too many here will care but I'm going to see Mushroomhead Monday night in Pittsburgh.
Five bands total and that will be the "least" amount of bands that I have seen at a concert this summer.
I'll try to get some pictures or a video, if I do I'll put it up.
Here's a video if anyone wants to check them out. Edited at: Saturday, September 18, 2010 4:54:03 PM |

The shape of the wings and the markings appear to be a little different. [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by Jeanine from Thursday, September 16, 2010 10:07:47 PM) |

The light going through the wings gives it a brownish look but flying it looked almost black.
I'm not sure what kind of butterfly it is. I have one more picture of it. I'll post it later, maybe it will
help you identify it. Glad you liked the picture. It was a lucky shot. It's kind of funny because when I first saw it I was like "Not another live album". That's why I don't have it on disc.
I bought the digital version for my nano and after listening to it I was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. My first Digital purchase. I have a decent stereo in the car, I play it there sometimes. | | guidogodoy wrote: | | You know, I saw this post earlier and something struck me as "missing." At the time, I couldn't put my finger on it. Just having come back from a 5 mile run with it in my ears, it hits me....the album to the right is missing: "A Touch of Evil."
As I have posted before, I think it is just an outstanding album from start to finish. "Judas Rising" sets the tone and it is just crushing live / pro mix song after powerful song. If, like many have argued, "Painkiller" is the low-spot on the album because of Rob's "grover" voice, well that ain't so bad. I'll admit that the start of Painkiller really didn't grab me like the other songs on the album as I have heard too many bootlegs where he just nails it. Then again, I have never been one for such "throaty" singing. At the end, though, he just nails the high notes. If nothing more, I find it interesting how he transforms a song he has performed a thousand times into something new and interesting in a single rendition.
Anyone still sitting on the fence about this one? I did and still give it two thumbs up. All hail the Metal Gods.

Nice to see the "Tribute" albums in there, Bud. | | Budred wrote: | | My "Priest" LP and CD collection. The LP's are from my original vinyl lp collection.(mostly 80's)stuff)
If you notice where the vinyl ends you'll figure out the first CD that I ever purchased.
