Thanks again for the relay, HRMG, please keep 'em coming. Phil: the FB-phobes are pulling for ya buddy!
About the helicopter insurance, even with it just think of the nightmare in terms of logistics. Provided you can first afford it, you then have to be of sound mind to say that you have it BEFORE being admitted to the hospital. As you know, once formally admitted, you are theirs until they discharge or transfer you. Provided that the proper stars are in alignment and that your "life threatening injury" isn't so bad that you aren't able to give verbal (perhaps written as well) consent to go to another hospital, you best pray that the only helicopter isn't in use, the guys are around AND that the weather isn't bad (always something to keep in mind in tornado-land)!
That is why I try not to have my arms ripped off by a thresher. If I do, I'll be sure to check all of the variables mentioned above first. Oh yes, and be sure to practice signing my name with my toes.

Sad but not uncommon. The select few who can afford it here pay for additional helicopter insurance.

WHAT?! Now that is just silly! LOL!! Normally,I'd ask what you call a "dairy" but they haven't really existed since I was a kid. Back in the stone ages when you could count on the milkman to deliver all sorts of dairy products (in the milk chute, of course, that eventually gave way to the milk box in my house) and the most popular store at Granny's house was "the City Dairy." While I suppose you COULD buy milk there, I never got past the ice cream counter. YUM!

LOL!!!
| | guidogodoy wrote: | | Do you also push a "trolley" when you go to "the shops"?
| | Becks wrote: | | Lollies is what we call candy, I believe Australia and the UK are the same. So yes if you said that to someone from NZ they'd know what you meant lol!
| | guidogodoy wrote: | | "Lolly" companies? I assume it comes from lollypop? Were I to say that to someone from NZ, they'd have an idea of what I meant with no need for clarification?
The peanut gallery wants to know! LOL!!!
| | Becks wrote: | | Nope lol. It's not typically celebrated here, it's become en vogue in the last few years though thanks to lolly (candy) companies exploiting it. I'm sure there'll be a scary movie or two on television though. What are you doing for halloween?

Are you doing anything for Halloween?
| | Becks wrote: | | Nah no specific brand, just high SPF, nothing less than 30. I like neutrogena cos it's not oily and gross lol.

Sucks about the ozone hole over NZ. Do you wear any store brand sunscreen or is there a specific kind that has to be worn if you live under/near an ozone hole?
Guids, can't wait to see that pic if you ever take it. Maybe you can give it to DF's band for their future first album?
| | Becks wrote: | | Me! I like Spring cos it's not too hot lol. Although it signifies the start of having to wear sunscreen, damned ozone hole right above us and all.

So who's looking forward to their respective seasons?
