Morning everyone! A lovely saturday morning here. My cats are harassing me for food so I best go do that, then I'm off for a run. Then this afternoon I have a wives and girlfriends of guys in Afghanistan meetup, I need to take a plate of food but I don't know what, LOL!

Bah, not getting house guests anymore. The camp housing area is too far from the area of camp they need to be in, which is true. This camp is much bigger than any other. Still a bit stink, all on my lonesome again.

I feel sad at one lorikeet that was the prettiest thing in the pet store. Bought an brought BACK more times than I actually know. All because of people who fell in love with him in the store but didn't do any research to know that the are LOUD! Felt so sorry for the poor thing as he was SOOO sweet.
Ok, off I go to soak my road-ridden bones. Happy entertaining (and buy some new running shoes!!).

A lorikeet is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Like a cockatoo, though, they do get kinda loud (lesser degree of Fred). Almost got one when I went to get Kiko. Got her from an avian rescue place and the owner brought the lorikeet out. Splayed leg and I didn't think I could handle her. LOVELY, though!
Talking about the needs of the birds, though. Kiko will pout if I don't give her a headrub before she sleeps.
Ok, enough of this....I could go on with birds forever!

Awww that is awesome! Pets that interact with you are so much fun. My last experience with a bird was a rainbow lorikeet at the pet shop who decided he wanted to sit on my shoulder and play with my hair and clean my ears LMAO! So cute.

My older sis and I are in agreement that our parents lied to us about being also allergic to dogs. While the little one sets me off a bit (short hair), Calvin is not an issue. BIRDS would have easily been my first choice.

I cant live without my kitties.. they are my kids... I have really bad allergies too, mine are mostly pollen, dust,mold ect..
Iam sure Iam some-what allergic to my cats,, but I will not give them up.. They are starting to shed right now, and Bowie is goin in for a hair cut on Monday... His usual shave down.. his fur molts, and knots I brush and brush him. bu it just knots up to close to the skin.. So I will be giving him his spring time bavid bowie spike haircut... Pictures to follow of course next week..
