Just saw this commercial for the first time and dug it. Who is the first band mentioned? JP!!
Pops up three times if my count is on: first mention, citing a quote by Halford and a Ripper t-shirt (eh, don't know if the last one counts for me...)
Might work, might not. It will if you have Flash properly installed. If not, top of That Metal Show's banner.
@ HEADBANGER 1 dead so far , they had to open the spillqay at the dam to release some of the pressure, we are good where i am so far

Depends on where you are in the country, where we used to live it'd get to about -3 degrees C which is about 26F. Here we are getting to about 37F overnight at the moment, can drop lower though.
Oooh yes I looked at the shirts, cool as!
Oh, yeah! You guys are in winter now. How cold does it get overthere?
It's getting warmer and warmer here in CA with each day that passes by. Kinda sad that the June Gloom that we usually get at this time of year didn't last very long.
Did you look at the new shirts in the online JP store? The Painkiller one looks pretty cool.

No hot weather here, lucky to have a day or two straight without rain at the moment. Thankfully our fire keeps us nice and toasty.

Stay safe, bro. Absolutely NO news about that flood here. Here, it is all forest fires and how not to dehydrate. Not had a drop of rain here in a month.

Hang in there, you two! It'll all calm down eventually, hopefully soon.
If not, then come to Cali. The heat is only slightly annoying, at best, and there's little to no humidity.

NO! Too friggin' hot to do anything outside here. About 100 degrees (F) right now and looking at 105 F of pure heat for the next couple of days. You don't even want to know what the "feels like" temps are hitting. No dry heat here. I think I am going ot work the rest of the week in a speedo and flipflops.
I knew I should have gotten that bikini wax last week. Ah well. Folks at work will just have to deal with it.

Queensryche Part Ways With Geoff Tate, Name Todd La Torre New Singer
After recent rumblings of tension and rumored incidents, veteran rockers Queensryche have parted ways with singer Geoff Tate. They’ve announced that Crimson Glory’s Todd La Torre is their new singer and have put their current tour dates on hold while they work on revised routing.
Queensryche drummer and band founder Scott Rockenfield explains the split. “Over the past few months, there have been growing creative differences within Queensryche. We want our fans to know that we hoped to find a common resolution, but in the end parting ways with Geoff was the best way for everyone to move forward in a positive direction. We wish him the best of luck with all of his future endeavors. We can’t wait to bring Queensryche to our fans with Todd behind the microphon
The new lineup already played two shows in Seattle under the name Rising West before Tate’s exit was official. The now former lead singer had to play as a solo artist when opening for the Scorpions last week in Utah after the rest of the band withdrew from the show. He already had solo acoustic shows planned for the summer along with a new solo album.
Replacing any vocalist is a big risk, especially when it is somebody as iconic as Tate, who had been in Queensryche since 1982 and was the voice behind all their hits. However, perhaps it’s one of those situations where both the band and Tate will end up better off in the long run.
