Almost 47.  I can't believe how close to 50 I am!  I don't feel it, I don't look it - - I still can wear the leather biker jacket and ripped bell bottom jeans I had in high school!

40, I wish I was still 40. I never had wrinkles then, they have just come along in the last year and that really pissed me off. But I guess I look OK for 43. I'm thin, I have me health, and still active, except this weekend with all the passing showers and hail. I just prayed the hail would not get to big.

40  and loving it.....

I look good, I feel good, makin' some decent cash and living life 100% on my terms.  Life isn't perfect but it's way, way better than 30 or 20.......can only get better from here......

I'm 47.  I see there's another 47-year-old on here so I don't feel too mummifed LOL... I grew up in Maryland and I remember being 8 years old when Woodstock took place, I heard about it and I was really pissed that my parents wouldn't take me!!!  I was dressing up in my mother's long skirts, going barefoot and putting flowers in my hair, listening to the black radio station on my little transistor radio and going around saying stuff like "Power to the people."  LOL...

I was raised on  jazz and classical music.  I played the trumpet and trombone starting in 4th grade and continued up through hs.  I loved (and saw in concert) Maynard Ferguson, Chicago & Dizzy Gillespie.

When I was in high school in the 70's I started listening to Blue Oyster Cult, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and when I got out of hs I listened to Van Halen, Frank Zappa, Steppenwolf, Yes, Heart  (cringe, yes I did), Judas Priest  of course. Later I listened to Buffalo Springfield, Spirit, Tangerine Dream, David Bowie, Kansas, Boston, King Crimson, Pat Benatar, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Crack the Sky, Dio, Scorpions, Guns & Roses, Mothers Finest, Journey, Traffic, so many more.

Now, I listen to all kinds of stuff.  Metallica, Stone Temple Pilots, Buckcherry, AC/DC, Godsmack, Ozzy, Megadeth, Disturbed, Temple of the Dog, Rob Zombie, Pearl Jam, JP of course, Rolling Stones, Circle Jerks, Beastie Boys, Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Audioslave, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and many more.

Peace, Kathy in KC Edited at: Saturday, June 21, 2008 3:54:40 AM Edited at: Saturday, June 21, 2008 3:55:23 AM
