exciting times to be around then , they came from the same area zep," sabbath ,and the priest .there could be considerations for that these bands did not just invent heavy metal but defined it for generations to come!

the ignore system is a way of not seeing someone.  thats all.  of course some people try to twist it and create divisions, like anything.  but if someone is a pain and you dont want to see them....

PMSL Spa! Nobody parties like the Butabi Brothers... I think Jim's cameo on the SNL skit was just so classic!

Priest: Revolution

This one has the wonderful energy of early Zep. Rob even does Percy's thingy, so the tribute is complete.

Let's face it, guys:  Zep started metal ... but then Priest became metal's flagship - and still is

Aint that so ?

Sometimes wonder how Zep would'v developed had John Bonham been around. Any'o you guys thought about that

Two great great bands without whom my life would'v been so much poorer

Nicky.
[Nicky007] Saturday, January 02, 2010 3:56:46 AM
Ugly Kid Joe:  America's Least Wanted

Not groundbreaking, but quite nice, and fun

and of course, my daily fix:  Priest's Nostradamus

Strange, people initially tend to perceive it as rather regular metal

But that's only until they begin to experience its amazing depths

Guys, I still havent understood the purpose of the "Ignore" system here. Doesnt it only add fuel to the existing divisions ?

Nicky.

A little late night sillyness from the Butabi Brothers. lol

One Will-Halford

As a child of Mexican parents I can't avoid it, but still! There's only so many sappy romance ballads that one can endure!!

Guardians of Asgard - Amon Amarth
One of the best metal songs in recent years.
[Necroticist] Thursday, December 31, 2009 3:24:49 AM
Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Discography.. (mainly cos i forgot to play em over xmas....)
[Nicky007] Thursday, December 31, 2009 3:13:33 AM
Yup, Down, one'o my fave groups. Pantera too

NP  Priest:  Angel Of Retribution

Fab album too

It's amazing how Priest changed after Rob got back into the mix

This is the only band I can think of with guys 50+ that continue to explore new territory (progress) and give their fans radically different treats with every album

Think of Stones and Aerosmith

But honestly guys, couldn't you at least get the spelling right in the topic heads ?  When guests see this, they think that Priest fans are illiterate. As we know, there's already a widespread prejudice that metalheads are morons, and we don't need to add to that

Nicky.

Nothing like cracking a beer, putting the feet up and listening to the soothing tones of Roxette.

Hey how do you put up youtube videos?

Maybe when I was like 8 years old, but I can't remember LOL! I was never allowed to listen to rock radio stations when I was little, so I got stuck with that sort of nonsense lol.
I'd say the likes of Lady GaGa (who my mum also loves, BLEGH) is eurotrashy, though not from Europe.

WHAT?!? You read too quickly. Not bands from Europe rather TRENDY bands. Yeah, Ace of Base! LOL

I saw the sign.....(and yes, I have heard of Roxette, junior).

[jimmyjames] Tuesday, December 29, 2009 3:39:52 PM
For me it was AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Guns N Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Priest, Motorhead, Sabbath etc. I can't think of any bands that would fit into that definition of Eurotrash except maybe Roxette. Have you heard of them, the y sing that shocking song "The Look".

[guidogodoy] Tuesday, December 29, 2009 3:25:24 PM
You really want to go back there? Well...Eurotrash is an American term to usually applied to determine  really bad techno-rock. Comes from Europe, normally.

Wish I had a video in mind to back this up...www.urbandictionary.com/define.php
