My two grandsons call me "dampy". When Michael was a baby, "GR"s were trouble for him to say so grampy became dampy. You will find that it really doesn't matter. Once they call you, you are hooked!!

Less thn a week now until San Antonio and my oldest son`s first concert. I`m excited and he is pumped up listening to nothing but Priest right now. Gonna be great. Then I have the decision whether or not to make my hometown show in August ? Decisions , decisions !!
I got a new iPod today - my old one was getting, well, old, and could not fit all the music I wanted on to it. I just need to load my Judas Priest and Halford stuff on to my new one then I am good to go! Loaded it with Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Krokus, HammerFall, all sorts! Unfortunately not entire collections for all those bands, but heck, I'm happy with getting twice as much metal on to this iPod as my old one!

My daughter's fever broke, she's responding to medication and is getting better. I hate seeing my kids, or any kids ill. It's been rough but I'm so thankful that she's going to be ok.
I'm also thankful that I 'get it' and manage to live the life I do purely by my choice and control my own destiny. I work very hard to have a happy, successful life, nothing at all to do with luck. As most of us on this board do, we work hard for the goals we set in life. That is how we get to be who we are, we make things happen. We don't sit and bitch about what we don't have.. I am so thankful that I do not blame the rest of the world for my 'hardships' I accept what I can and cannot do.

Yes! I finally got the new computer finished (nice specs - test run tomorrow sometime) plus i managed a good days work (which is pretty amazing after i did my back in). Also given up the booze, fixed a few issues with my lady, and got in touch with a few friends i thought i'd never seen again. The best news tho - my cousin had a baby...all in all a pretty good day :)

Three day weekend - it's almost 1 o'clock here, I'm still in my jammies, eating fresh cherries in front of the computer, after getting to just sit and knit all morning (with the occasional wrestling of a ferret to get my yarn back, LOL!)
Contemplating heading to the quilt shop, the yarn shop, and trying my hand at pattern designing. I think I need a pair of Priest socks, right? Or maybe design a top for the show - I've still got over a month......hmmm - there's a thought. May have to pick up some printable fabric sheets and see what I can do. (Who, me? geek?
