Toms are always best! They stake their claim to things. Back in college my roomie and I had a Tom appear on the window, and mind you we lived on the second floor, so we had to let him in we were afraid he would fall. He moved in, and took over. I was allergic to him but still he was so sweet I just lived with the sniffs and occasional breathing trouble. He went to the bathroom and meowed, (requesting a litter box). I put up a found cat sign and eventually someone replied to it. Broke our hearts to give him back, but the place he was staying was right next door to us and he had left because he didn't like it there. When we returned him, he was back in a matter of hours. Turns out he was being catsitted by this person and he did not like her house, so I rang her and told her he would be staying with us till her friend came back for him, since he hated it there so bad. We kept him for 4 months when the rightful owner reclaimed him. As far as I am concerned she did'nt deserve him! But he seemed happy enough to see her, so I let him go.

Ah the joys of living in a country where there are no really poisonous or stinky animals LOL. Skunks, the best way I could describe the smell, is think of the worst smell you've ever encountered, and times it by 100. It's horrid lol.

That's nothing. My Wendy could have curled anyones hair when she decided to attack a skunk. I came home from work that day and about a quarter mile before pulling in the driveway I smelled skunk and I thought, ah gross, someone hit a skunk. Rolled up in the drive with the window down and Wendy was home to greet me. She had taken a direct hit!!! I almost threw up in my car and was yelling for her to back off. Tried every remedy I could for it and nothing worked. Finally wet her down and Packed 4 boxes of baking soda into her hair, left it on her and just let her dry that way. It cut it in half, but she was not allowed to stay in the house anywhere but the basement for the next 4 months because she stank that long.

Guido, I try not to feed her chalupas, but sometimes the look in her eyes scream, "Feed me chalupas...FEED ME CHALUPAS!!!"
