Ellieke! This has to be the best news in the world right now! You, Koen and Yolien have been in my prayers and I am so glad to read today that she is recovering nicely. You have all been through so much and you've weathered the storm! Please give your little princess a heavy metal hug from us and keep getting stronger!

Hey everybody,

After to long , here an other post of me.

I hope everybody is doing well and is enjoying the summer as we do.

Vacation is allmost over , one more week and the kids are going back to school. It will give me back time to be online more.
After a very difficult 10 months our little girl Yolien is going back to school for the first time. After 8 months of hometeaching, she's going back to school. She's doing very well and the cancer is under controle. We still have 80 weeks of treatment to go but we are positif about her progress.
I'll be back soon.
C ya !!

Craig, I totally get wheat you're saying. When you're that close to a situation it is impossible to not be emotional. I have been very emotional since all this broke out and unless you're in the situation (like you were) it is hard to explain to people how you react to it.
I apoligize for making my problem  everyone elses problem. I just am so freaked/stressed out and afraid for my family's future that I turned to the board because so many of you genuinly care out here.
Thank you to everyone for all the kind words and support.
I will keep you posted on the progressions.

Craig.  as others have said, good job

Wow Craig. Your honesty and willingness to admit a transgression is very refreshing.   I was offended by your post, and I am glad you went further to explain the basis for your expression. Not many would do such a thing. I respect that.

Craig, I have to admit that I'm very suprised by your post...in a good way!!  I was really shocked at your original post, I wrote what I wrote and left it alone.  To now see you come back the way you have in your last post, all I can really say to you now is 'thank you'.  As Randy and Pam expressed, what you did took guts and I have nothing but respect for you for that!!  Thank you for taking a second look at it.  If more of us did that (myself included), we'd all be better for it.

Craig, I would just like to say that it takes a very big man to apologize and take responsibility for his actions. I applaud you, I really do. I wish more people were able to admit when they were wrong. I admit that I really didn't like what you said, but now I understand where you were coming from. Yes, it really is scary to see what we as people are capable of. But then again, we are also capable of doing GREAT things as well.

As far as keeping your trap shut, well..... we are all guilty of letting our emotions get the better of us. God knows I wish I'd kept my mouth shut on a lot of things! Hindsight is always 20/20 as they say.

Way to "man up," Craig. We all have our bad times and it really takes a lot to own up to your own. Cheers.

I would like to apologize for my shenanigans. I admit that my post was too rude and way over the top.

It was an emotional outburst triggered by Joe's posts. The current situation in South Africa reminds me of days long gone by when I went through a very eerie period in my life. Yes, I still have very vivid memories of the LA riots. The whole thing had a direct effect on me, because it happened in my own neighborhood. I was scared, outraged and hurt to see the kind of destruction that we (as a people) are capable of doing to ourselves. It was disturbing and I will never forget it. It made me realize that in the end we are a bunch of barbarians under a very thin layer of civilization.

Of course that's no excuse. I should've kept my trap shut.

No thank you! Not me at all. lol Ghandi, other great thinkers of peace and wisdom yes, but the problem is "average people" run this place. That is why we are so screwed.
