So glad to hear that it wasn't as bad as it seemed!! I guess they felt it all the way to Cleveland and even in Detroit. Didn't feel anything here, but I was cranking Priest and I don't think I would have noticed any additional shaking, LOL!
I was sort of vegged out at my desk staring at the computer, and it felt like someone was nudging my chair. There wasn't anyone in the office at the time to ask, did you feel that? I just guessed I just had a really strange day dream. Then the fifth floor called and the building swayed enough up there to scare the crap out of them. lol

I don't think I could live in California. That shit would freak me out. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by Vaillant 3.0 from Tuesday, August 23, 2011 5:15:17 PM)

Lucky bastids. Cali is earthquake country yet there hasn't been much major activity in a while. Last one I felt was in 2008 when I was at work. Nice shaker, too.

That was strange. Probably nothing to someone near faultlines but this is very
rare here. Rolling across my TV screen as I'm writing it says it was centered in
Mineral Springs Va..
Lets skip over the 2012 conspiracy because we all know when 2013 gets here a "new" doomsday date will be the new trend. So whats the new trend date after the ridiculous 2012 conspiracy lol!

well the religious nuts who profit from this crap will pick a date close in. but there will probably be a later date too.

I so want to do an end of the world theme camp in fall 2012 with my cubs...
I just had something weird happen. I logged on to the computer to come here
and I started to feel a vibration of sort. I thought my cat jumped up on the back
of my recliner. I turned to look and he wasn't there. I looked back at the computer
and the monitor was shaking a little. I called my wife in and asked her if she could
feel it. She couldn't but she had a strange look when I told her to check out the
computer monitor. I asked her if the washing machine was running and she said no.
I had her sit in the recliner, she said she could feel it but it was starting to go away.
I looked outside and it's absolutely beautiful. Not a cloud in the sky, no rain or wind.
I've heard of minor quakes up by the lake (Erie) but I've never felt one. I don't know
if that's what it was or not. It scared me a little because it felt so weird. Now I can't
wait to watch the news or read tomorrow's paper to see if that's what it was. Strange.

So you look like a deep shag carpet with a combover?
MMJP: I'm a ok on Thursty thursday. Damn, just remembered................got to take out the trash cans.
Well, I HAVE been getting a lot of sun lately. Put on a little weight too.
As for the "Rubberband Man," I assume that you mean the commercial (what was it, OfficeMax? Staples?) and not The Spinners. As you know, I love them both!
Nope, I seriously look closer to Sharpton right now! Part is on the right side of the head and everything.

Oh yeah!! It's been almost a month since the last time the topic of your hair dilemna came up.
So you're letting it grow! Kewl!! As for the humidity, look on the bright side...it will be all gone by the time November comes around...right?
Now how about some pics?

How about this for some true "blah." I still haven't gotten a haircut (been since well before the beginning of summer) and was planning on letting it grow until the Priest show in November. However, while it looks long in the north, I am a walking shrub in the humidity of the south! LOL!!! I think I look like a young Al Sharpton when I pull it back getting out of the pool! HAAAA!!
Who has some purple sweats to loan me for a bit?
