British Steel 30th Anniversary...now this is how you shoot a vid. This is the best frickin thing Priest has done since regrouping with Halford in my opinion.... and it's not even new material. Halford moves around on stage a lot and shows a lot of energy without those long sweaty leather coats and huge boots to drag him down. If they could bring some of this energy to the new album (if there is one, I think we deserve at least one more top quality classic JP album) it would be a treat. ha

Hey I didn't do the review sweetie, just posted the video. You could always visit MaidenSlave's youtube channel and leave a comment if you like. I'm sure he would love to read the comments of a top notch Priest f**g***.

He is clearly a Maiden fanboy like you, thinking The Wicker Man is excellent! If you were actually a Priest fan, you would recall that MANY MANY PRIEST fans requested they play Blood Red Skies when Priest asked fans to post in the Epitaph setlist request thread. That's Priest fans talking and Priest heard them and played it during the tour. Calling me a fangirl doesn't bother me because I'm not one. You on the other hand believe every single thing Maiden has done is equally as good. You couldn't even rank the albums from your favorite to least favorite as I recall. Your sole purpose since you first posted here is to piss people off and start shit.

HAAAAA!!!! "Wicker Man"? A GREAT tune?!? Too funny. Hey, to each her own.
Sorry, I'd also beg to differ that Hellrider is the greatest Priest fan on the planet.
[Brian_Evans] Sunday, February 17, 2013 6:32:54 PM
"The Wicker Man" is an exellent intro track in my opinion. "Judas Rising" is good too. But overall "Brave New World" kicks AOR's butt. Just my opinion. Even Hellrider who is the biggest Priset fan on this site said AOR was a skip track album with Bon Jovi tracks on it, need to get back to the Painkiller style, so there you go. Just because someone doesn't like Blood Red Skies doesn't mean their "bashing" Priest. More of that fanboy/girl thing going on there. How dare someone not liking  Blood Red Skies!!!  Yeah it's a good track, but not for everyone.

Just out of curiousity, I watched his review of Nostra. He basically praises it and said that if it were to be their last album that at least it went out well.

Interesting that someone like the reviewer who complained that Priest can't handle long songs the length of "Lochness" (which I, personally, can't stand) gave Nostra (which I love) an 8.5/10. He, like I, even said that it would have been a fitting end to the band. I also said the same years ago.

NOW I just hope the new album doesn't blow it.

You guys listened to more of it than I did. I didn't listen to him review each song.
Where I thought he was just being honest is when he was talking about how Rob returned and this was going
to be a classic Priest beast (paraphrasing) and everyone was excited (myself included) and then when you heard
the album it was a bit of a letdown. I agreed that it sounded like a watered down "Painkiller". I always thought that
they basically just went through the motions and followed a basic Priest formula and nothing on that album in my opinion
stood out as grounbreaking or earth shattering by any means. It has good music on it and I do like it and I thought they were
great live on that one. I drove to Detroit and Cincinnatti to see them and didn't regret it at all. I think that's why I've felt let down
since Rob's return because I was waiting on a follow up that I thought would be a return to form and I've been waiting ever since
and now they keep or should I say occasionally mention that they will be releasing another album and we're still waiting. At their age
and at this stage of their career and with K.K. gone I can't imagine we're going to hear anything like we've heard pre-Painkiller if we
hear anything at all. I still love them and will buy the new disc but my hopes are fading.

For me, it was when he draws the parallel with "Judas Rising" and "The Wicker Man." To whom did I pose the question? To anyone who wants to answer it. He slags "Judas Rising" but "Wicker Man" was a comeback album where Maiden had so much energy, the band sounded "so tight" and Bruce sounded amazing. WTF?!? Damned If that isn't one of the most gawd-awful songs ever written. Lost all cred right there.

"Demonizer" is "generic" and "very slow" to him. M'kay. "Lochness," perhaps, but "Demonizer?!"
I won't even say much about his "not really liking Blood Red Skies." Pfffffft. Suffice it to say that he and I just disagree. Achooofanboyoo!

As soon as he said he didn't like Blood Red Skies, well you knew he was an Iron Maiden fan bashing Priest....... gee, an Iron Maiden fan bashing Priest - THAT'S NEVER happened before

And you are asking the Maiden FANBOY about a Maiden song? Of course it's as awesome as every other Maiden song ever written or will be written! That's what's so hilarious about HIM calling US fanboys/fangirls

I guess both. I'll try to stop assuming people will hate anything.
Not sure who you are asking about "The Wicker Man". I'll guess Brian because I've made it known
that I haven't liked them since "The 7th Son..." and haven't seen them since 00'. I haven't even listened
to anything they've released in the last decade.

Yeah I thought it was a fair review and he pretty much nailed it. The only two tracks I would disagree with him on are Judas Rising and Hellrider. For a comeback album though,  it's pretty weak.

Hate or simply disagree? Honestly, did you like "The Wicker Man?!" Think it wasn't formulaic? Repetiive? Didn't sound like just about every other Maiden song on the planet?
[Budred] Friday, February 15, 2013 5:35:01 PM
...pretty much sums up how I feel about it. I didn't watch the whole video but I think the guy was pretty accurate.
He didn't sugarcoat nor go out of his way to bash it. Pretty much just an honest review. You know some here will hate this.
