hello everybody
I'm new and this is my first time after some years. After read the explanatory notes on how to start this forum, I have decided to venture into the wonderful world of JP and feel closer to the group. Unfortunately I have two years without concerts magnanimous because in my personal life have been many changes. But now I'm back here and I hope I can continue to enjoy one of my first groups.

Hi everyone. I'm Caron and new to the web noticeboard but a long time Priest fan. I recently got to see them live for the first time at Jones Beach - MetalMasters tour. They were great! My only two wishes were that , 1st ; my fiance who recently died could've been there with me, and 2nd; that Priest would've done more from the new album Nostradamus. The whole thing was bitter sweet, loving the chance to see and hear Judas Priest live while mourning the love of my life. My fiance was a HUGE, GIANT, FOR ALL TIME Judas Priest/Rob Halford fan. He would've really loved the show. Rock on!

Aahhh...nothing wrong with Southwest Airlines. If they take you to Point A to Point B, then thats more than enough. Plus they still give you peanuts during the flight.   [Show/Hide Quoted Message] (Quoting Message by tasnam1 from Wednesday, September 03, 2008 10:02:14 PM)

Interesting watching these short clips.

#1  Seems like Rob Halford is using his phone for all clips
#2  Must say I am surprised to see them flying on Southwest Airlines (Low cost carrier in U.S.)
2a.  But it is a short haul from California
#3  They are not even flying in the front rows!!!  They are behind the wings.
3a Southwest does NOT have 1st class section
#4  They money the saved on Flying SW, seems to have gone to the high rollers suit at the Palms in Vegas which is pretty nice.
4a Probably a "comp." room don't you think?

Great to see video "behind the scenes" which is a rare treat.  But they are doing more and more over the recent years.

We need better quality video Rob!!!

Thanks.

Ian Hill has been a big influence on my bass playing. I can't understate Ian and his contributions to heavy metal and rock music.

New member living in South Korea.   Looking forward to seeing the Priest in September.  Not too many good shows come to Korea, so this one is very exciting.  Cheers, everybody.

Hello to all you JUDAS PREIST FANS OUT THERE !!!!!
I am brand new to this site, one of the first albums i bought was sad wings of destiny. Long long ago when i was 14 or so, 39 now. I was just geting into music and well this monster called heavy metal, what can i say I LOVED IT.
The first time i saw priest live was the Defenders Of The Faith Tour, Then Turbo Lover, Painkiller, Angel Of Retribution, and saw the guys in Vancouver BC on thursday night. WITHOUT A DOUBT still THE GODS OF METAL.The set list was very good, covering a wide range of their stuff, HALFORD STILL KICKS ASS, I SHOULD BE SO LUCKEY WHEN I REACH HIS AGE. I got a little misty in the eyes when they were playing some of the old stuff, remembering geting just totally stumbling around drunk " camping out " on the steps of the edmonton northlands colisium the night befor the ticket booths opened, back in the days befor the CRAP of ticket master was born.
Ahh the good ole days.....
But really they were just awesome, MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT FOR THE PRIEST !!!!!
