i think both are great bands. bon scott was an amazing frontman. judas priest is my all-time favorite band so if the question is who do i like better i say JP. but these are also two different types of music. JP is without a doubt the metal gods. ac/dc is more a classic  rock n roll band. i enjoy both but prefer the heavier stuff.

Avenged Sevenfold isn't that good IMO, they're OK. They new torch-bearers are new thrash bands like Evile and Warbringer I think.

ac/dc's a good rock band.  PRIEST ARE METAL GODS.  In my opinion there is only one band out there that might carry the torch for my kids generation......Avenged Sevenfold  (they're drawn to them like I am drawn to PRIEST).  I have to admit I see alot of similarities with them & Priest.  But if you think anyone will ever be better than Priest, You've got another thing coming!!!!!!!

JUDAS PRIEST is the best band ever!  Anyway for example see two songs "Painkiller" vs." Highway To Hell" .
Too big difference so JUDAS PRIEST is on a higher level.Maybe AC/DC is more popular but i dont care this.

 AC/DC has always had two of the greats of rock vocalists. Brian Johnson and Bon Scott, Bon being the one I prefer more. Angus Young has been an inspirational guitarist a long with the rest of the band also in Rock history with hits like Highway To Hell and Back In Black.

Judas Priest has had one of the most high pitched screaming banshees in the history of metal which matches perfectly with the greatest genre in all of music. Rob Halford may be gay, but with a voice like his and a band like that at his side, nobody can destroy them. They have been renamed the Gods Of Metal and even have a clothing line that emphasizes it even more. Their screeching guitars that blow through the atmosphere of the earth with ease kills Angus with might, but Young puts up a damn good battle. Tipton is a god of guitar, as well as Downing. Ian is the bassist of all bassists and Travis... well, he can lead a double bass line like nobody else. Lets not forget his intro to Painkiller.

 I agree with Head Banger.....I wouldn't pay to see AC/DC regardless of how good they are live but I would pay to see Priest....by the way...Priest are better live in my opinion.
