We saw Popevil in Cincinnati because I was afraid someone would get our front row seats. Let's just put it this way - they are not my style. I swear the bass player was trying to be Captain Jack Sparrow or some other pirate. Sorry dude, Johnny Depp is the only one that can pull that off!! They were REALLY loud and I couldn't understand a word they were singing....not that I cared that much. Seems like they really cranked up the bass in order to make it "more metal" to fit in with Priest because the stuff I heard on the radio did not sound this way. I didn't like them, but to each his own.

I'll never forget that night...it was a bar called Hammer Jacks...never expected to see him there, the band wasn't even in town!!!!...a very cordial and fun guy to hang with and he wasn't being mobbed, which I'm sure made him feel comfortable just hangin' and tossing back a few...rates up there just below the birth of my daughter and above both marriages...

Morning Freeze...lol, no, I don't have a shrine, but I do have this box that I keep little odds and ends I've picked up from here and there...one day when I'm gone, my daughter or even grandchildren could one day go through it and imagine the things I've done or where I've been or even ask "what did he have to do to get this??"
Guido...my bad!!! Couldn't think of the name of the place nor did I have the ambition to look it up...but the token is cool as well as the room key card, a big fluffy towel as well as a few other little trophey's...lol I was too thrilled about the ppl mover either as it's elevated (never mind I was staying on the 43rd floor  and had the river and Canada skyline for a wonderful view), but it took me to within a couple of blocks of the ball park and anywhere else I wanted to go

The token though...KEWL! I tried to get Freezy Puffs to keep one but he wouldn't. Hell, I have a whole lot of tokens from Vegas. Only seemed right but no go...harumph.

Hey, I rode that People Mover several times a day when I stayed at the GM building...it was pretty cool, especially if it rained (which it did). That's how I discovered Greek town (casinos and the food!!!!). Also dropped you right off at the arena!! Kept a token as a souvenir!!!

Nothing like a little side to side shaking to make a guy feel truly "alive!" I'll send all to you, Freeze, when I get a chance and let you post your own poison.
