I, too, would love to know what inspired such rage. After all, she never said. An inside PM fight is all I can assume. Still gives no reason for such nonsense and taking it out on the general membership. It was as I first stated, the general "flipping us ALL off" saying goodbye only to return again is what astounds me. It is borderline lunacy, IMO.

I have a very strong and solid opinion about the situation here at JP.com with regards to a certain individuals who come and go and the "followers" of such, but will keep them to myself until it's appropiate. Oh, don't get me wrong, I think the organizers did Priest a grave injustice by the their choice of Godsmack to honor Priest, as they are not a Metal band...I'm still confused by it all. But at the same time, I don't think they embarrassed themselves either.
The Vh1 Rock Honors is really all I know about Godsmack other than the couple of songs I' heard from them when I researched them when I first heard they were going to do the Priest thing...am very unimpressed as I am with the majority of todays music...but they tried.

Well, as the Princess and I were actually there for that gig I can safely tell you that they were "OK". Not my first choice for the band that would get the honor of doing the Priest set but they were not bad. I did not expect any "high" notes from that guy. Not sure he sings that way. In any event, the "highlight" of the evening (for me) was Paul Rogers and Queen. Rogers is absolutely incredible. A true professional and a vocal genius. I was awestruck. Of course, this is not to say that Rob and the guys were not great. They always are, but I was just blown away by Rogers.
