Unfortunately no. I already felt like I was asking for too much as it was. I asked Big Dave to give Rob an 8x10 photo of the picture we took with him leaning in on the shot of Glenn posing for us for his scrapbook. I sent a letter along with it, explaining the picture and what happened. Dave said that I got a chuckle out of Rob! I really wish that I could have been there for that, but knowing that he got the picture and enjoyed it means the world to me. Thanks Spa. Mark had it done through Kinko's. And guess what? Since we did the possessed party package in Cleveland, Big Dave head of Ozzy's security talked to us and told us to give him the banner in Grand Rapids when we come back for the meet and greet with Ozzy and he'd see if they would sign it. We gave it to him last night and he took it back to them. They asked him if he took it from the people in Cleveland! HAAA! He said "No, they are here again tonight and I told them I'd try to have it signed for them." They all signed it and Rob said he wanted one and wanted to know where he could get one! Hell, we would have made one for him too if we'd only thought of it! We hung it over the rail in Grand Rapids where we had front row seats. They came out and spotted us right away, pointed and smiled. They kicked ass last night. We have some incredible pictures from last night that I will post later once I get them all uploaded!

I was ready but according the yesterday new, non new album, only farewell tour!!!!
Many artists said good bye to the stage to start again, but this time, considering the age of the fab5 I'm not so optimistic.
Do you have any good new for the album. Is Epitaph the title of it or only the name of the tour ? [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by hellrider 31038 from Tuesday, November 09, 2010 6:17:14 PM)

Yes, they sounded awesome. Had a great time and was excited to see how the Halford band won over the audience in Cleveland. Oh, and the poster was awesome! My Friend and I drove down from NH to see Halford at the Crocodile Rock. He sounded incredible and his band just kicks ass! Roy Z unbelievable! We really didn't want to spend the money to see Ozzy and only hear Halford play a short set. This was well worth the trip and way cheeper (even with traveling). Great crowd too and the band loved it because they knew everyone there were true Halford fans! Stage was way too small. Felt sorry for them but they worked it out! I nearly went to the show in baltimore with Ozzy, but i am so glad i decided on the headlining show in Allentown. The band was great and of course Halford was the Metal God as always. The crowd was large and loud! My voice is just now recovering from all the yelling. I took two friends who had never seen Rob perform live but are huge priest fans and they were just blown away. The best part was being in a smaller club type venue we could get really close to the stage. This is a must see show! Now i'm even more anxious for the next priest album!

Last night I saw Halford opening for Ozzy! What a great concert!! Rob was in fine form, and played Made of Metal, Fire & Ice and Like There's No Tomorrow from the new cd. He also sang Green Manalishi, Diamonds and Rust and Jawbreaker, which are all awesome! It was so nice to see that band play, especially since Priest are on hiatus. Ozzy was his usual crazy self and sprayed foam on the audience whatever chance he could. All in all, a great show, and I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE PRIEST HERE!!! \m/ \m/ Thanks Rob for a great show!

Made of Metal is definatly not Angel of Retribution by any means. Angel is a great fucking album! I dont like Roy Z's production though, maybe if Tom Allom remixed it Hellrider would like it. (Quoting Message by J.D. DIAMOND from Sunday, October 24, 2010 2:56:54 PM)

I totally agree. A NASCAR on the cover of the album? And yes, those lyrics spank of child-like-3rd grade ideas. Some of the music ("some") is ok like the song structure in the song "Made Of Metal"....the way it starts out....even the way Halford starts singing this track with the lyrics is ok....and then BAM! The chorus kicks in with the poor lyrics and it utterly destroys the song and turns it into kindergarten material with a G-rated disney approach. All the songs on this LP are like this, and it just baffles my fucking brian ......"why"?
I think when Rob did crucible he was trying to be more serious because he was out of Priest, but now with the Winter Songs idea and now the Nascar shit I think he is pulling a fast one on his long time fans,he really is aiming this record towards another audience altogether but he realizes that his long time fans will buy the album unconditionally,well....I didn't buy it and "I'm not buying it". What happened to the "metal" ?
I mean Angel Of Retribution was a heavy metal record and a damn good one at that because 99% of members here say so...the 1% that doesn't is only one member "hellrider" and yes,he is entitled to his opinion, but 99% of fans in this forum love the album besides the last track "Lochness"...and then after that album......where did it all go? Nostradamus....then Winter Songs....then Made Of Metal......all 3 are backed up by fans that claim Priest is just experimenting...oh Rob is just getting things off his chest that he can't do in Priest....blah blah blah....ITS BEEN ALMOST 6 FUCKING YEARS SINCE WE ALL GOT SOME REAL "METAL" GUYS"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
