Nice to hear that sd,I was hoping to create a more positive thread here than on the main board.
We should celebrate the mighty priest,40+ years of blood ,sweat, and frostbite.
I am gutted of course being a huge priest fan for over 30 years.
But i dont think this will be the last we hear from The priest....

As much as it saddens me to see my childhood heroes end their touring, I am glad to see that they all came out of that lifestyle in tact, healthy, and still able to create music.. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to finally see them live on their final tour, and look forward to the future they persue....

Like i said Jt,Everyone seems to think this is the end of the mighty beast that is Judas Priest,This i believe is not the case,I am pretty sure we have more new recordings to come.Of course one day they will retire.
But if you think priest have finished unleashing the finest heavy metal known to mankind,Then in my opinion,Youve got another thing comin.

It was long time ago. I was a member of the band named Hard Lord. We, as an opening act, supported the very first Japan tour of Judas Priest. I feel like it was just some years ago.
I cannot see their final tour without tears.
I still play in the band as a singer. I really want to say hello to the members when they come to Japan. If accepted, I'd like to bring a bottle of sake for them just as we did at that time.

What a bad new. It was expected but not without any other album and not in 2011. One date is sure: June 22nd Milan, then some others to attend.

I dont post on here at all really,but have visited for many years....
After reading the posts on the main board about no album,i just wondered where it said they were not going to record any new albums.....?
As far as i can see it says they are not going to tour anymore..no mention of not recording more music in the future.
