spa I think this is the best track on British Steel and always have. I remember listening to British Steel for the first time in 81' when I got into Priest and the whole album blew me away and then when I got to the last song I was stunned at how great this song was,is and forever will be. I NEVER get sick of hearing this song,I do get tired of Breakin' The Law and Living After Midnight but I could listen to Steeler every day for the rest of my life and never get sick of it,it truely amazes me.
Great clip too!!

Halford does strain a little but these bad-boys were on top of their game here, the best in the biz at the time. I hope they return back to this style on the new cd. Yeah thats pretty cool Jimmy,I agree with everything you said.
This is pretty amazing apart from Rob going a bit too hard out on the choruses and losing control. He sounds awesome on the verses though. Priest shoud remaster this show and release it as a cd dvd package. It's a damn tragedy that there's no live dvd of the Painkiller tour. The quality of this isn't too bad either.

It was cool to hear that but I wasn't digging Rob's vocals. I love the 70's albums but it seems
they hit their peak live in the late 70's / early 80's. I'm sure others will see it differently. It's just opinion. [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by NupeTheJawbreaker from Tuesday, March 08, 2011 3:16:57 AM)

Sorry, only audio here, but videos from this era are scarce as a hen's teeth. Why this was never properly recorded is beyond my understanding - an epic song!

Jimmy I'm sure you've seen this before but its still my favorite Priest concert live footage,Japan 1978 White Heat Red Hot from the Stained Class tour, all tracks from this are totally fucking excellent!!

Not sure if there was ever a thread where we could post stuff of Priest on stage, not that I bothered looking that hard, but if you find any good footage of them in action stick it in here so we can all check it out. Just saw this one on youtube.

This has the swagger they need to reclaim for the new cd. I know its probably just the sound quality but Scott sounds like he's playing on a bunch of pots and pans. lol

Here's another kickass song never played live after the 1988 tour. Quality isn't all that great but I've got a great-sounding audio bootleg from the same tour which also has this one in it.
