I am enjoying playing the guitar I received on Christmas Day. I wish I could attend more than one live concert/performance.
Unfortunately I suffer from claustrophobia, so attending concerts with large numbers of people isn't possible or to my liking.
I do however buy your recordings. It is possible to do so without having to like a Band or anything written or said about them.
My interest is not personal and it is my preference that it stays this way. Bye.

HA! Who would have ever thought that Tom Petty EVER played a Gibson Flying V? Even got the aviator glasses going! LOL! Damn glad that guitar isn't red.

I unlike some of you guys can't afford guitar lessons. Not to mention the gas to get there.
It would be a twenty mile drive.
I also work full time with varying schedules. I was just hoping someone
would clue me in on a good place to look to start teaching myself.
Glad you're concerned enough to ask though.

Why not just go take guitar lessons?

Most people posting here seem to know quite a bit about guitars. I got one for christmas and I need to learn how
to play it. I Know an old man who is a country musician. He lowered the strings closer to the neck for me. He gave me
a "Bad Monkey" tube overdrive and a "Main Squeeze" compressor. I bought a Korg tuner and he showed me how to
tune my guitar. The only thing now is to start learning. Is their anyone here willing to help a newbie. I was hoping
someone here could suggest a site to teach me some "simple" things to practice and help myself get started. I've
never touched a guitar before so any advice has to be simplistic. Could anyone tell me what these pedals do. Any
advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm to old to become a musician but I've always wanted to play
a guitar. I don't expect to get great I just want to learn to play something. If you guys only want to talk to advanced players
it's all good. Thanks, regardless. Peace!

Wow, it's been a while.. This thread has been dormant far too long, and even much longer since anyone has posted any fresh gear.. Seems like a good day to break the trend.. Just snagged a Peavey Rotor EX, should be here by the end of the week, will get the obligitory pics up when she gets here.. Have had a serious jones for aFloyded explorer for a while, and I have looked long enough for an Imperial to finally give up on one.. Thought it would be a nice change to go non Jackson and shortscale for this one, too.....

What happened to Glenn's new Hamer? The build was all over the "state of" Hamer site a while back but not a word about the build for a looooong time unless I missed it.
