From Mexico: Thanks a lot for coming!!!

Due to the flooding in Iowa, I am financially unable to attend one of the live shows this year.  I was wondering if a live album or a DVD recording will be produced from this years tour.
KEEP THE FAITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was in attendance at PNC this past Saturday, August 9th. I had a VIP Platinum ticket, and had a blast at the preshow party. Amanda, Jessica and Rachel(?) did a fine job with the handling of us fans. As for the show itself, the other bands were great, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to see such legends of metal. With that said, my greatest moment of the night, (and one that surely ranks high in my life) was when I had the opportunity to meet Judas Priest. As a fan for nearly 30 years, I can say with accuracy that I have listented to Priest music almost daily throughout this time. My kids grew up on Priest music, and as adults, they too are fans. That is priceless.

Rob, Glenn, K.K., Ian and Soctt, I meant what I said in that meet & greet tent; "That I feel truly blessed that you continue to put out such great music, and that after finally meeting you, I can now die in peace." Your performance that night was fantastic, and I was in "metal heaven" throughout your set. You guys never disappoint, and Rob, the affection given to the American flag was truly special, and a nice touch to end the concert. It meant a lot to me, and I thank you for adding it to the show.

As for Nostradamus, I must have listened to it hundreds of times thus far. I think it is a brillant masterpiece of music. It's addictive, and I am hooked on it. I believe this album culminates the catalog of Priest music. When I look and listen back on all your music, and apply the time period, it all makes perfect sense. No album can be interchanged chronologically. Nostradamus is a natural fit for the continued evolution of Preist music. So, to the members of Judas Priest, I thank you immensely for the pleasure of your music, and the "Perfect Metalution."

Sincerely,
George S. Shammas

I have a ticket for VIP in San Antonio on the 24th and I was wondering if it would be alright if I brought a birthday cake for Rob Halford, since his birthday is the 25th? And if I could, are there any flavor preference? You can email me your response.

I really enjoyed meeting you guys! I just wish I had not come alone to the show and been so nervous that I drank beer like water at the preparty, by 7:00 it had all caught up with me! I love you guys! I just wish I had been a little bit more on the straight and narrow! Hope I was not too obnixious! But I really did want my custom Chucks signed above all else! They say Priest down the back spine! I love those shoes, and now I will retire them to my bookshelf to be put in a case and loved forever!
God, I did not even make it to Ken (my baby, LOL) and Scott, (my VA man!) Shame on me!
Forgive me my lapse of reason gentlemen, and thank you so much for treating me like a lady even though I was buzzed. I'll never forget it! Not even in the state I was in! Never, forget it!
To Rob, Glen, and Ian, I was ever so thankful just to say a few words to you!
I will be a fan of my favorite 5 people in the world for as long as you make music, and long after that as well!

My Dearest Metal Gods,

Thanks so much for coming to Calgary and being part of Monsters Of Rock. You all looked hot and sounded amazing! It was an hour of heart pounding fun! I only wish it could have lasted longer.
The very next day I drove to Edmonton with my hubby to meet you and catch the show there. I have had 2 weeks to think of the words to explain to you what an incredible experience that night was to me but still don’t really know what to say or how to explain it. It truly was the best day of my life. 2 weeks after and I still tear up looking at the picture. Thank you so much for making my long time dream come true.
I hope you all received the leather necklaces I made for you. (If not, ask Rob. I passed  them all to him.) Some of the other members here helped me pick out the pendants for you. (Thanks everyone!) A
bout 2 1/2 years ago I checked out eBay for the very first time. I got a wee bit addicted to buying Priest stuff. So I thought I better try to sell something to help that addiction. I started my eBay store, QT’s Cool Stuff, making and selling those necklaces.  2 1/2 years later I’ve got that addiction under control and have built a nice little business for myself. That just ONE of the small ways Priest has enhanced my life. You will forever be in my heart.

Love Tina (QT)

Hi Rob, Glenn, KK, Jan & Scott!

Due to historical reasons I visited only two JP live shows (I live in Bulgaria): 18 of June 2004 in Sofia and 11th of July 2008 in Bucharest, Romania. I and three friends of mine travelled almost 1000 km for two days to see you live!!! And it was worth fighting for, of course! I just wanna ask you not to skip Sofia during your next tour, because here in Bulgaria you have a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge huge huge number of fans, it's true. And if you really come, you should perform at the biggest stadium in Sofia!

kisses and hugs from Bulgaria! I'd love to see Nostradamus as a metal opera, so please, please, please, come to Bulgaria or at least somewhere not very far from here :-)

love,

stefi

I've probably seen Priest 50 times in the past 30 years. And don't get me wrong I am already getting chills and the show I'm going to on Aug 9th is still days away. But it would be awsome to hear songs that I love and have never heard before live or at least since the mid 1970's.

I remember when the set list used to include Before the Dawn, and Starbreaker, and Evening Star. Other than maybe the scorpions, I think Priest mellower tunes are the most intense. I'd love to hear a full set of them.

But either way, THE PRIEST WILL BE IN TOWN IN 4 DAYS

That would be a dream come true. No Breaking the Law nor Living After Midnight permitted!

Have Judas Priest ever thought of doing a tour between albums where you played the less heavy songs that you traditionally play?
Not necessarially an all accoustic show. But a show performing a set list of:
Run of the Mill
Dying to meet you
Here come the tears
Last rose of Summer
Before the dawn
Epitaph
Dreamer deceiver
Close to you????
ETC
