Here learner drivers have to have big yellow L plates in the front and rear windows, LOL! We avoided driving when we were in Europe, especially in Paris, we just walked everywhere. The drivers there are off their rockers LOL!

LOL.. I drove in the Bahamas, they are on the British driving system... turn abouts and such... Driving on the opposite side of the road ECT... But I think the best part of it all, was not only that,, but I arrive on the island right after a hurricane and all the damm street signs were still blown down,, stop signs ect..... LMAO..
Talk about a cluster F*ck.. at least the island was only 90 miles long and 45 miles wide.... not far if you get lost.. .. GAWD LOL

Very disciplined there, and whats more interesting, there is almost no police on the roads there. Over here, there is a police stakeout everywhere you look. In Italy, the traffic policemen stand by the road, watch the mayhem, and do nothing.

As it was not only do they make up their own lanes half the time, the motorbikes just glide right between already tightly packed cars. It's damn scary driving in europe in some countries. Heard Portugal is the worse, but never had the pleasure of such a scare! LOL
In the US the one thing we do have is organized roads and interstates for the most part, you would never see the bahaviors I saw there happen here without someone getting a ticket.

Oh, Ive seen that motorbike thing loads of times... Dangerous, but you get used to it.
I think that reckless driving is pretty much a south European thing, tho. Germans and Austrians drive very well. Very disciplined there, and whats more interesting, there is almost no police on the roads there. Over here, there is a police stakeout everywhere you look. In Italy, the traffic policemen stand by the road, watch the mayhem, and do nothing.
Yup, a continent of wonders, we are!

I have driven in a country which requires all new drivers to have a Giant N in their back window for the first bit of their driving lives solo, so I would just not bother drivng in italy. Great stuff, seems that they have less limitations than F1 cars, and the tracks look a lot more interesting (read: faster, straighter and without those damn chicanes). Too bad we dont get it here. At least not that I would know about it.
