Awesome Becks! Have a great day in the "Magic Kingdom"! I love Disney World, but have never been to Disneyland. If they have the tower of terrror there, you MUST ride it!!!!! It's GREAT!! I rode it so many times the fall didn't scare me at all anymore. lol
Ok so it turns out our hotel in LA has free Wifi, so just checking in to say, got here safe, it's bloody hot, and I'm off to Disneyland tomorrow! YAY!

Ha, I was there last night too JJ! Trivium were pretty good, As I Lay Dying aren't really my thing, missed most of These Four Walls, and Disturbed I enjoyed bar the fact the singer is a cock.
I'm off to the States today! YAY! So I will be MIA for a couple of weeks, so I'll see you all on the other side!

I am glad the hawks take care of the sparrows around here. If only they would take out the damn woodpeckers! LOL!
My son thought it was really funny when I came back home and got into bed. Craig thought I ran exceptionally fast and crawled back into bed for a nap lol.. I guess in a few hours I'll be up at a sparrows fart ready to do it properly this time lol.

Me? I arrived a few minutes before the start. Who made it a rule to start races so early? Start at 12 noon, I say! What is a little dehydration and sunburn in the big scheme of things?

Palm Springs get blazing hot every summer. And yeah, there ain't much to see in the Inland Empire, except for maybe dry, barren wastelands. The farther out west you go the more interesting stuff you're likely to see. How long will you be out there?

It's your typical LA county town, not a bad place to visit. Our biggest attraction is the casino, a biggie if you're into gambling and whatnot. I think it appeared in one of those Poker Championship games that show up on TV.

Huntington Beach is cool. I used to go there every summer with the high school choir. We'd bike, swim in the water, make a bonfire at night and eat s'mores and other tasty snacks. Good times, good times.

so, I am on vacation in CA. drove from Palm Springs to LA yesterday, family went to knotts berry farm, I went to the beach. driving back a cop pulls out onto the highway ahead of me, lights going. starts swerving back and forth across 5 lanes stopping anyone from passing. slowed us all down from 65 to 30. this went on for about 10 minutes. finaly he turns the lights off and stays in the right lane. guy in the left lane speeds up and cop puts the lights on and pulls in behind him, guy signals, takes the off ramp, not sure if he stopped for cop or not.
Wondering WTF is that all about.

Too true, and they would have brought you a sweet tea too.
Exactly! Not like I could call anyone. Still, I am in the south. I could have just asked some stranger to go up onto their porch to "set a spell." I am sure that they would have let me.
