I AM PRETTY HAPPY WITH THE AIR PUMP ACTUALLY MORE LIKE BLOWER MOTOR THAT WORKS ON BATTERIES I PICKED
UP ON THE WEEKEND FOR EXPERIMENTING WITH.I NEARLY PASSED ON IT I FIGUARED IT WOULD
BE CRAP AND YOU WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO FEEL ANY AIR COMING OUT OF IT BUT I GOT IT ANYWAYS AND I AM GLAD I
DID.VERY POWERFULL SHOOTS A VERY POWERFUL BLAST OF AIR.ITS VERY LOUD BUT THATS OKAY WONT BE ABLE TO
HEAR IT CAUSE THE METAL WILL BE CRANKED.LOL |

Ripper is a class act all the way!! He didn't even mind signing the Priest jean jacket, even though none of the patches were from albums he was on. Considering the low numbers at the Jugulator and Demolition shows, I think he really appreciated that we were at the Jugulator show and supported him. Great great guy!!

Guido, you will appreciate this - at one point Ripper said to someone in the crowd, "You don't need to worry about leaving. Don't worry about your car, it's not there anymore!" BAHAAHAHAHA!! Fortunately the place has security that keeps an eye on the cars because if they didn't I think they would all be broken into or gone. We stopped at the KFC a couple of doors down before the show and it had bullet proof glass and doors to pass the food and money through. HOLY SHIT!!!
After the show, we met Ripper. He is a really great guy!! I've never met him before and I always wanted to. I told him that I've been waiting to meet him since '98. We told him that we saw them in Kalamazoo for the Jugulator show and it was sold out. He said he remembered that show and it was a GREAT show. Damn right it was! I said that I thought the picture of a "sold out" sign on the '98 Meltdown disc looked like that sign! He thought about it for a minute and said, "You know, I think it is!" We got our pictures with him and had him sign our JP jean jacket. He didn't have a silver sharpie, so he signed on the Painkiller front wheel.
Highlights of the show for me were: The Last In Line, MOB Rules, Heaven and Hell, Man On the Silver Mountain, Rainbow In The Dark, Holy Diver, We Rock and Don't Talk To Strangers. It was a great show!! If you get a chance to see them, GO!!

HAAAAA!! Ripper would have been right too. You ate at THAT KFC?!? Hell, there is one 1/2 mile down where you wouldn't take your life into your hands. While I am halfway kidding, I did get carjacked about 1/2 mile down at a Taco Bell. Same street. Right on Harper. Those guys were a bunch of punks. Tried to steal my Dodge Omni! BWHAAAAHAAA!!! Didn't get mine but got caught stealing some massive white dude's beater Eldorado or something. At the police lineup, the 6'5, 300+ lb (easy!) MONSTER was laughing that they couldn't even figure out how to move the big front seat (all one unit). Said the kid that stole it looked like a gnome trying to hit the gas and see over the dash at the same time. Like me, he wss asking: What dumbass would steal a beater Eldorado?!
I am thinking that they wanted both for parts. LOL! Glad you had a great time. You were literally 1 mile from where I still consider home.

I'm just glad to see someone here give them such a good review. I saw them last year and posted and I didn't get any negative
feedback but I think people here are more willing to accept your reviews than mine. (Only because of my musical tastes) It was
one of my more memorable shows from last year. I'll be leaving in about twenty minutes. Can't wait! I got one for the Super Happy Thread!
Just returned from Santa Fe New Mexico with my girl, most amazing time. Weather was pefect during the day and more perfect at night with very chilly temps, that made snuggling by the open fire even better!!
This place is perfect for a couples getaway! Check out the La Pasada Resort/Spa if you go there! Lots of history and culture there as well.
Brought us closer than I ever thought possible! Damn I`m a happy man right now! Edited at: Sunday, November 04, 2012 6:05:52 PM |
