Oh, ye of little faith (and patience). 
I shall contribute a few. These are from the British Steel concert in Concord CA (7/31/2009), with Popevil and Whitesnake as the supporting bands.
First off: Popevil (be afraid, be very afraid!)
The bass player. He was quite a rambunctious dude. He was running around the stage while playing the bass. Must have had too much coffee that morning.

Bud, don't lose heart so fast! Maybe folks haven't had time to find any cool pics yet.
Unfortunately I only have pics of local bands that none of you have ever heard of so I feel my photos would be kind of pointless. But you never know.. I bet in a little while we'll be seeing some more cool pics in this thread xxx

Anyone out there that has any cool pictures,
...concert shots
...with the band shots
...anything music
Feel free to post them here. I wouldn't mind seeing them and others may not
either. If the response is good it could turn out pretty cool. We can even expand it to include anything cool.
You determine what cool is so it's basically anything goes. The preferred initial theme is music.
Let's go.

One more for now just to give you an idea of crowd size. Remember, this is early in the day. Many are still in
the lot. Also a couple of thousand are at the other two stages. The headliners both nights had much bigger crowds.

I'll put more up in a day or two. I'll give people a chance to see these first.
I understand that the line-up may not have appealed to most here but that concert was
a blast. Very diverse musically. I've never been to a two day event before. That was cool also.
Some good performances by bands I didn't expect to see from like,
1. Five Finger Death Punch
2. Rise Against
3. Skillet
4. Slash
5. Three Days Grace
6. Papa Roach
The energy level from the crowd all day both days was crazy also. Crowd surfing all day long.
I didn't see any fights, amazing at an event that big. Very cool!
Lots of flashing
I had a great time. 22 bands in two days! |
