Had a friend from Italy named Alex Beccini (pronounce bekini) he loved Metal and he had this band on his computer. Great Music. Alex was great too. Good friend!

Has anyone here heard of Lacuna Coil? They're an Italian metal band apparently, just listening to this song and it's actually pretty good!

At least I know where I'll be when this "Popevil" band plays: either checking out the rest of the amphitheatre or buying some merchandise. I'm definitely not looking forward to this one band. Saw one of their music videos and didn't like their music at all. I'm not completely sure about Whitesnake even though I bought and listened to their album "Slip of the Tongue" (which was okay), I think I'll give those guys a chance. From what I can tell at this point, Popevil won't have much of an audience...maybe the occasional cricket. But who knows...
Just think about Priest following THAT in '90! Whew! GREAT show. Came right back to PaInkiller 91!
Can't say that it doesn't piss me off some that they are now linked with no-name PopEvil and a band I never liked, Whitesnake. Someone, please, give me some Whitesnake material without Tawny. Not that there was anything BAD with that but I didn't think I paid to see her.
Listening to? WAR PIGS!!

One of the few Van Hagar songs I liked. Another under-rated singer. The Red Rocker.
[guidogodoy] Tuesday, May 12, 2009 7:26:17 PM
You know, Alice is SO under-rated that it is sad. To bring up Pine Knob, Detroit (not really) again, I went to see Priest warm up before Alice in the early 90s. Went for Priest but damn if Alice didn't put on a great show. Magic, jumping through the screen into a pre-recorded movie. Albino snake (my only REAL problem...animal lover...had a boa in my apt that was just that size and he flung it down on the stage for drama....bastich) but a great show overall.
Never had half an idea as to his band but he always had some sort of "hook" to keep you listening.
