After that almost heart attack I felt a bit of sadness as well, although only because the 'tour' didn't have any US dates. I thought I remembered Cheap Trick playing last. I was wondering why the gig history(google) had Ac/Dc
playing last in the cities listed. Wheeling wasn't listed. From what little I can actually remember from it, it was
an awesome show. I knew of Cheap Trick so I remember more of their set than Ac/Dc's. It was basically the
setlist from live at Budokon. Rick Nielson playing that five necked guitar still stands out. I remember watching
Angus Young and thinking what the hell is wrong with that guy. Running around the stage, rolling around the stage,
and rocking the f*ck out on stage. (And that outfit?)(LOL) I remember the crowd going crazy when Bon Scott took
Angus out into the crowd on his shoulders while he jammed. Ac/Dc became my favorite band after that concert.
Then I saw Kiss a year later and they became my favorite band. Then I saw Priest two years later.....(end of story!)

I saw it at the Wheeling Civic Center. Wheeling, WVA.
I think it was my third concert. Peace! |

We saw Dommin open for Lacuna Coil last summer. They were really great live! They blew all the other supporting acts right off the stage. We had never heard of them before either, but bought their CD after the show and had them sign it. I love a band that you can understand the lyrics live, even if you have never heard the songs before. I had to skip most of the questions since most of the bands mentioned I hadn't even heard of...
That said, I just had to vote for Dommin. My fiancee and I saw them play support to HIM last weekend and they truly rocked everything - incredible band. I'd never even heard of them before we went and then they absolutely blasted my b******s off with quality. Amazing.
Anyone else around? My family and I are taking a siesta - everyone's knackered for some reason. Even the little one (who's usually active and lively from beginning to end of the day) is fast asleep right now... |
