You really are a tool Bwian. But then again, your probalbly just waiting for Maiden tickets because there is NO WAY you would go see Priest.

Now keep your ears on for ticket promotions by radio stations, or the club of the (sports) venue they may be playing, and the major sponsors. Beer will be sold. Ya know, except for Hampton, when the crowd surged. I never went to a show that had that problem. Up front on all of them, and that is the only incidence.
I suppose the US decided just one incidence like what happened at the Who concert, was too many. That is when they started to phase out General admission.
I feel lucky I had that seating for as long as I did. Sigh! I REALLY miss it.

And that is why we have the ticket scalper problem over here as well.

Pretty fucking gay that they have seating at a heavy metal show anyway. Over here you have floor tickets and seats. If you're on the floor you can push your way to the front, If you want to chill in the stands you buy a seat. When I went to Canada I went to see Priest and it was just floor or stands so if you wanted to be at the front you could. |

Ah Jimmy, I remember those days well! General admission on the floor and you took up your spot and kept it on your merit!
You have NO idea how much I miss those days! It's almost Monty Phythonish. Let's not argue about who got trotted over or who killed who! It was incidents like that to get us seated concerts. I hate them. The best concert night of my life was when a baricade caved at Hampton Roads, VA and I got to spend the entire night with my elbows on the stage! At KK's feet.
The Politically correct world wont let us take chances anymore! IT SUCKS!!!!

Like u that Abba song is forever etched in me brain from when i was younger!LOL!
It's too bad how all this is happenin when it was first advertise as one more for the fans!
And really, how many true fans will be in those seats?
Pseudo fans that seen them on American Idol and the future Glee!
I know,i know, going on about Glee, but, the way things are going lately i will not be surprised if they end up on that show!
They might as well now,as far as i am concerned they cannot do anymore damage by going on that!
Glee and American Idol are on the same level of the pole for me and that is in the shit zone no brainer TV shit shows!
I sooner poke hot rusty nails in my eyes than ever watch crap like that and for Judas Priest to go on that, well, after 25+ years as a fan i am very dissappointed and sad!
And i don't think i can ever get over it,i don't!
My first big dissappointment was April 1986 when i bought the "Turbo" tape went home and played it on the tape deck!
I almost had a seizure, but, this American Idol thing is way worst than that!Way worst.
Anyways!
But on the bright side at least i got some hard core metal to make me happy!
Rock Hard Ride Free!

I know that some of the "ticket resellers" are companies owned by ticketbastard, or at least this is the case in canada. that might explain the first 10 rows thing. I have also seen concerts were the first 10 rows were held for media and radio station givaways. so they were actualy mostly empty at that venue. I just let myself get tangled up on a "scalper" site - lol The seating arrangement on that site is possible for that venue; however, when I went to the 'real' link it still shows general admission / standing room only, where the other site showed seating. Floor plan and sales dates are still being determined? While the show immediately following is already on sale (shrugs) How frustrating, eh? |
