| They are predicting 4 WEEKS of no electricity for many in our region. Many schools still closed and not likely to open soon. All cities in the region have a curfew established. Anything but food or fuel and you are doing a stretch in the jug. Really hard times (glad I have power again, IOW!). |

NOW, I am going to be fine. Got an electric space heater kicking out the love while I bring the whole house up to a liveable temp.
I am FROM Detroit (Grosse Pointe, actually...suburb). However, I LIVE in NorthWest Tennessee. Nearest city that might actually be on the map is Paducah, Kentucky. 50 minutes to the north. I live in a small, and fairly isolated town and, my main prob, I even live outside that small town in the country. When something like this hits, they work on getting the city turned back on before they bother with us out here in the rural areas.
