HA!!! I had a hippy guy at one time and I just could not do the "Dead", but cooincidentally the 84 Hampton Show happened the day before the "Dead" came to play, so we stayed in the car the next night and there was all kinds of stuff going on. Some I remember, and some is just a long trip down rainbow bridge! LOL [Show/Hide Quoted Message](Quoting Message by guidogodoy from Saturday, March 28, 2009 12:44:10 AM)

You know, curiosity was killing me to find out what it was about the song that made Al Atkins decide to want to name the band Judas Priest, and listening to it didn't help. The band's reasoning for it makes sense (light and shade and so forth)...but in the end I have to agree with you, I don't care for it, but if it wasn't for this song, I wonder what they would have named the band??... Ron, I'm not a Jerry Garcia fan and after hearing that song on Youtube, I remember why. I think I'd rather listen to country, r&b, or one of the following 90's whiney asses: Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana or Hole.
It's time to go put some Judas Priest on and Break that Law right now!!!!!!!

but I like this version best...very folksy, but a great message..."...don't mistake paradise for that house across the street..."...if you've never taken a moment to give it a once over, you really should... Edited at: Wednesday, March 25, 2009 4:23:37 AM
