Ah, memories. "The Joe" = Joe Louis Arena. Very place many of us met up and saw Priest for the last time.
Where is that pic of the Wings flag and Tipton, HRMG? Oh, yeah, you are probably at this game. Lucky....

well, someone needs to grow a 16 tentacled octopus and breed it for wings fans to modernize the tradition anyway. Your guess is as good as mine. DirecTV.

Even though we had a nail-biter (and I can't bloody well watch thanks to blackouts of that game here) I was getting the play-by-play from the old man. No octopi on the ice, though? Bring the series back to Detroit!!!

That catch was devastating. I remember both my girlfriend and I were in shock after he reached up and caught that thing with his fingertips. We got revenge though in the 92 NFC championship. Especially when Aikman hit Alvin Harper on a slant and took it all the way down to the 10 and that broke the Niners. Maybe my favorite Cowboy game. Man, I can relate to you also. I like the Cowboys too and vividly remember that freakin' catch and that was probably
why I swayed towards the Ravens in the Superbowl. Can't get that out of my head.
"Aikman was as good as anyone"!!! Joe Montana is probably the best qb to ever play the game though. Much better than Tom Brady in my opinion. Yeah I admit it, Montana is better than Troy Aikman. |

I can understand that.
My best friend is a Browns fan and we had this very discussion before the Superbowl. Around here Steeler fans hate the Ravens and that alone was worth rooting for them. Not trying to go back and
forth but if the Niners had pulled that out at the end that would have been cool also because then they would
have had as many Superbowl wins as guess who. the "Steelers"! (lol) Only they would have been 6-0 and the
Steelers would have been 6-2. So....I was happy either way. Can you tell I despise the "Steelers". |
