When the 1st Deicide album came out, I thought it was awesome! But for some reason, I never liked a single Deicide album after that. I saw them when they toured for Legion, but I was not that impressed with the show. I do miss our generation of metal. Voivod's Dimension Hatross and Killing Technology are 2 of my all time favs. Early 90's, when bands like Cathedral, Broken Hope, Alchemist, Gorguts, Monstrosity, Edge Of Sanity, Unleashed, Obliveon were in the Firing Squad section (demo reviews) of Metal Maniacs magazine, that's when the shit was good. I can't stand all this shit that's out today.

Dude,totally! All of them totally suck balls and the old thrash/death metal scene will always rule! Sodom,Destruction,Kreator,Morbid Angel,Deicide all of thier old albums of course,that "era" was unbeatable.
Deicide sucks these days,thier last good album was 1997 "Serpents Of The Light" which was nowhere near thier first 3 albums that were excellent,but it was still good but everything after that album blows.

| Well it would take me along time to list this.Overall I think alot of mainstream music is horrible and overated and boring. I remember a time when good acts were getting a real big push for example: Iron Maiden ,Judas Priest,Dio etc. etc. These artists gave the fans there moneys worth put out great albums and great shows and nowadays there's alot of overated crap being signed. I know it's all a matter of personal taste but that's my opinion. |

Every new(ish) band (As I Lay Dying, Jonas Brothers, etc.) nowadays has a dumb name that doesn't make sence and they all are overrated. People at my school think they're like the greatest bands in the world even though they aren't. Technically most of those bands just cover really good songs from bands like Beatles, and Aha, they make them all shitty and stuff.
It makes me wanna have a killing spree on about every kid in my school. :D......  |
